We received the pad a short time after ordering it, fast shipping. We used standard shipping and it arrived 3 days before it was expected. On opening, it reeked with the smell of the foam, so we put it in another room to air out, and expand to normal size, since it was somewhat compressed for shipping. When we put it on the bed, we found that it was about 4 narrower than the mattress. We have slept on it for several weeks so far, and it has made a big difference in the comfort of our bed. As stated, the only disappointment we have is that it is narrower than the mattress. This why I only give it a 4 star rating. We plan to put it in our RV next spring, because that mattress is very uncomfortable.
