Description

Designed for use on horizontal RV roof surfaces, including rubber, TPO, metal, fiberglass, aluminum or wood.
Seals along roof edges, around vent covers, vent pipes, air conditioners and screw heads. Remains flexible. UV-stabilized to prevent deterioration and discoloration. 10.3 oz. tube.

Directions for Use:

Clean surface of all dirt, loose paint, rust, oil and grease. Allow surface to dry before applying sealant. Use standard caulking equipment to apply sealant. In cold weather, warm container at room temperature before use.

Caution:

Keep away from heat, sparks and flame. To avoid breathing vapors, open windows and doors or use other means to insure fresh air entry during application and drying. If you experience eye watering, headaches or dizziness, increase fresh air or wear respiratory protection (NIOSH/MSHA TC23C or equivalent) or leave area. Causes nose, throat, eye and skin irritation.

Spills:

Keep container closed when not in use. In case of spillage, absorb with inert material and dispose of in accordance with applicable regulations.

In Case of Fire:

Use water spray, foam, dry chemical or carbon dioxide. Do not use a solid stream of water because it can scatter and spread the fire. Vapors are heavier than air and may travel along the ground to distant ignition sources and flash back.

First Aid:

If swallowed, do not induce vomiting. Call a physician immediately. If inhaled, remove to fresh air. If not breathing, give artificial respiration. If breathing is difficult, give oxygen. Glasses or goggles are recommended. In case of eye contact, immediately flush eyes with plenty of water of at least 15 minutes. Chemically resistant gloves recommended. In case of skin contact, thoroughly wash affected area with soap and water.

Health Notice:

Reports have associated repeated and prolonged occupational overexposure to solvents with permanent brain and nervous system damage. Intentional misuse by deliberately concentrating and inhaling the contents may be harmful and fatal.

It is a Dicor product so you should expect it to work right and it does, I have used hundreds of tubes of this product and it always works great. You should be looking at all your sealing spots on your roof at least twice per year to stop the issue of water leaks in your coach also!

Just clean the area and put it on. Works great for new installs or covering cracks in existing roof installed vents etc. I keep some on hand in the RV just in case.

I have used this product before and when I needed to install a vent I went back to it. It really works great but you have to put it on thick. Not to worry, it levels itself to some extent so you don't have to do that. I keep extra tubes just in case I find something that needs resealing.

Used the product when installing a new vent cover that required some drilling into the vent frame. Product has great sealing properties and was easy to work with.

Instructions were clear; easy to apply. Leaves firm but flexible seal. I was not able to obtain locally, but the shipping seemed a bit steep.

Works great. Easy to use in a caulking gun. Makes a nice smooth bead. I used a small paint brush to smooth over the entire bead of old caulking I was covering up.

Dicor Sealant does the job! Easy to apply, and seals cracks and seams around roofing inserts like skylites and vents without error. I had two leads. One in the skylite in the bathroom and one where my TV cable comes in through the roof. Dicor made those leaks history! You won't regret using this product.
