Disc-Off, Red/Blue

It is a disc tossing game involving two players or two teams scoring points by tossing a flying disc (think Frisbee) and knocking a bottle from the top of a pole. There’s action going at both ends to hold everyone's attention—tossing, catching, judging the wind, grabbing for the bottle—and the competition (and camaraderie) grows quickly!

The game incorporates a range of skills, yet anyone at any level can play. You don’t need to be strong or tough to compete and win and the game is popular with everyone from grade school kids to adults. Don’t be surprised when your 8 year old “takes you to the cleaners!” Disc-Off is also available in bulk to support fundraisers, favorite team activities, a school, business or charity. The games come in a multitude of colors or can be special ordered in your favorite team, school or organization’s colors. While everyone else is playing Ladder Ball or Corn Hole, you can step out from the crowd and play an exciting game of Disc-Off in your team’s colors and decals. HOW TO PLAY THE GAME:

Players:Play 1 on 1 or in Teams of 2 (Team players alternate tosses)

Set up:Poles 40 – 50 feet apart (adjust for player skill and/or playing conditions) being able hit the bottle or pole around every 5-8 throws. Players are even with or behind the poles during play.

Scoring: The tossing Player/Team knocks the Bottle off the pole to the playing surface

"HIT" Disc hits the Bottle - 5 Points
"TAP" Disc hits the Pol - 3 Points
"SKIP" Disc hits ground and then the pole - 1 Point

Opposing Player(s) catching the falling bottle one handed, not trapped against their body, before it hits the ground is “A STEAL” and the Tossing Player points are stolen by the opposing Player!

Catch a “HIT" - 5 Points
Catch a “TAP" - 3 Points
Catch a “SKIP" - 1 Point

(Some players like to reduce the “STEAL” values to “Hit” 3,“Tap” 2 and “Skip” 1 as they feel the catching is easier than hitting the Bottle or Pole).

Interference: Players may not inhibit or block the flight of the Disc to the target. “Interference” where the Disc may have hit the pole allows for a re-toss or if it’s intentional 5 points is awarded. Use good judgment and Fair Play.

Winner(s): First Player or Team to 15 points

Next Game: Teams or Players switch ends after every game to compensate for playing conditions.

Warning:Disc-Off is a competitive disc tossing game and players should be cautious in throwing the flying disc and catching the bottle and should not aim the disc at another player’s face.
