Just press a button to extend your trailer’s awning and enjoy cool shade.
Struggle no more with the opening and closing of your manual awning. If simplicity is king for you, look no further than the Dometic 9100 Power Awning.

The Dometic 9100 Power Awning brings the convenience of a motor-driven awning to the masses. With the simple press of the wall-mounted switch, the durable 9100 opens and retracts with ease. Featuring stylish and rugged vinyl fabric, the Dometic 9100 is the perfect power awning for your coach.

Knee Action design lets the awning fabric and hardware flex in moderate wind to prevent damage, and lets you walk out either end of the awning without having to duck your head. Improved hardware design offers a manual “rain shed” position and pitch adjustment of up to 24" for greater shade control. Its contemporary styling offers radius edges for a sleek appearance.

  • The 12-volt motor is tucked inside the roller tube for a clean look and moisture protection.
  • The double-sided reinforced vinyl fabric extends up to 8' and is protected in transit by a Polar White vinyl weathershield.
  • An excellent choice for travel trailers and 5th wheels, the 9100 Power Awning mounts on laminated sidewalls, using flat awning rail.
  • Easy manual operation if power fails. Available in lengths from 10' to 21' with standard or basement Polar White hardware.

    9100 A&E

March, 2007 have had our 17' A&E 9100 on our MH for 2 months now, it has worked flawlessly at this point. The only caveat is that leaves tend to build up in the arms and can jam the mechanism if not cleaned out. And this will take a stepladder unless you're 8' tall. I did have one occasion where water pooled in the center near the awning roller and I had to manually dump it, other than that it has been just fine, is extremely easy to put out and in, (she-who-must-be-kept-happy) loves that feature, just push the button. Camping World (Clermont FL) did an exceptional installation job for me, and very timely.

A&E 9100 Power Awning Arm Replacement

At first I was ready to replace this awning with a manual one. It would not shed rain. My RV dealer found a piece that replaces the awning arm so you can drop one side to shed rain. Still push button to extend, but have to manually adjust one side to shed rain. I received this accessory free of charge as the RV dealer was receiving lots of complaints of having to retract the awning every time it rained. Now electric is back in for me

    9100 A & E Awning

I thought the power awning was great, until it rained. Not one drop, and I mean not one drop shed off the awning until it was over full. We woke up one morning to find we had rain overnight. I could hardly open the door to get out to rescue the awning. The arms did not drop to release the water as I was told it would. I carefully swept the water to the sides. The trailer was only a week old and the awning was now streched from the water. I argued with the selling dealer about the function I was told it would do, but was told by them that I was misinformed. Well, if I want it out now I guess I need to raise the trailer tongue up to get the water to drain. I will need seat belts for the bed so we don't roll out. I have since gotten the Pitch adjustment kit from Camping World and it was all free from Dometic. How kind of them. A dealer wants 300.00 to install it. I'll take my chances with the warranty and do it myself. It is a simple part to install. I even noticed that Dometic still hasn't got it right. They want me to install it on the door end of the awning. If it lowers the awning I need it on the other end....... Thanks for the help Camping World. Your Great!
