Great refrigerator, replaced my side by side Dometic 1402 with the Dometic Elite and gained a lot of refrigerator and freezer storage. I like the feature that shows the inside temperature on a LED panel above the freezer door without opening a door.

I bought this unit to replace my original equipment 4 door unit in my Winnebago. It required a couple of modifications to install it but all in all it was pretty easy. Then the trouble started. First the door catches wouldn't keep the refrigerator doors closed. I called the company and they replaced the handles. However, the new handles were just like the old ones, poor quality plastic. Driving down the highway the doors will just come open. The next problem was the LP adjustments. I had to pay a technician to adjust the pilot ignition system. Then lastly the ice maker feed line started leaking the first time I tried using it. The problem was that I didn't discover the last two problems until the warranty had run out. It does cool and freeze real well.
