Nice toilet, great bowl cleaning flush, many ridges on the
underside of the toilet seat. Camping World doesn't carry
replacement..., can order original. Tried Home Depot, but their
version does not cover the rear vent...stuck.
0 stars for seat!
We bought a used camper with a low plastic toilet and was not happy with it. After some research we decided on this toilet. We lov...e the chair height, this is especially nice if you have knee problems. Installation was quick and easy. I installed it myself in about 15-20 minutes with no help.
We just replaced our old RV toilet (flushing mechanism gave out) and I love the style, height and flushing of this one.
I wonde...r if there is a weight limit for it.... seems to wobble a little at times. Also the seat and cover are VERY thin, flexible and I feel unsafe when sitting or rest my
foot on it. Other than that.... we love it.
I will never use a plastic toilet again. This is a well made and well designed product. A large ceramic bowl attached to a sturdy ...plastic base. Installation was less than 5 minutes. Water flow is good, with full bowl coverage, even on pump pressure. Fit and Finish are excellent. Good Sam membership got me free shipping in 3 days.
This product is easy to install. It took me about an hour for the complete installation. The is sufficient water pressure to get t...he bowl clean. The height of the seat, and the fact it is
ceramic makes it even more beneficial.
This toilet is very easy to install. Took me under 20 minutes to install in the bathroom.
Awesome quality toilet. Top half is po...rcelain & bottom half is plastic. Very strong, quality
product, High recommend.
Looks very clean and nice overall design. Installation looks straight forward. (Won't know
until spring!). I can see where a wat...er flow valve might be a good idea with the flush/flow
outlets next to the top rim. I believe it will be a much easier to clean unit overall. Not too
impressed with the thin plastic vacuum break cover however. Camping World is
excellent to work with.
Our camper was used, a 2005 Jayco Jayflight, and the old
plastic toilet was smelly and just plain nasty. We put new
flooring dow...n in the camper and the first thing I ordered
for the remodel was this toilet. I know it sounds silly to
be so excited over a toilet, but we are! This is the best
change we've made to our camper!
After a couple of seasons of toilet problems I looked on here and read reviews then made my purchase. This is one of the best upgr...ades I've done. The height is better, the ceramic is so much better than the plastic
and my wife loves that you no longer have to use your hand to flush. I would recommend to add a cut off valve when you hook the plumbing up. That way you can use
it to regulate the water pressure.
I had this product in a previous trailer and really liked
it, then found myself with a plastic pot when I went to a
larger trail...er. After suffering with the plastic pot for
far too long, I bit the bullet and upgraded to this product.
Wish I had done so long ago. Really nice appearance and
I bought the 310 yesterday at a local CW store. After removing my old Thetford, I discovered the floor flange was so affixed that ...I could not remove it without breaking the plastic piece that goes down the hole. In order to get the 310 to seat properly I had to carefully chip away all the material (dried mounting putty + waste) that caked it. I assumed this meant the o-ring was not sufficient and that putty was necessary to seal the small gap between the plastic between the toilet's hole and the one on the floor. Otherwise, filling the tank up to toilet neck could let waste seep under the toilet and all over the bathroom floor. Luckily, I had some putty (not included with the toilet). Since there was no instructions on how/where to apply it, I guessed and made a mess. I had to reach down into the toilet and clean the excess by hand only a few inches away from waste. Yuck. With that done, I discovered the rigid PEX line feeding the toilet was ~3" higher than it should be, so I had to cut it and re-attached the elbow/toilet adapter. Afterward it seemed to only flush intermittently; then I discovered the PEX wasn't perfectly straight in and would flush only when I held it. I called Dometic support, gave my S/N and was told to use a mirror to look for 2 screw holes. I found them empty. They said they did not include the screws, but offered to send them to me (would take over a week to arrive). In the meantime, I need to use the toilet without holding the valve each time, so I'm going to check local hardware stores for #6 5/8" 20 pitch hex bolts. I may also get some nylon hose to replace part of the PEX so it doesn't put as much pressure on the 310's apparently weak valve fitting. Hope this helps others.
Pros: Auto fills toilet with water after flush, Flush pedal is better than my old thetford , Flush around bowl is better than rear spray/dribble
I only have one other toilet to compare this one. To but this one is definitely a winner. I noticed that a lot of buyers complaine...d about the plastic seat, especially the plastic seat cover, and I agree. You can purchase a wood replacement that comes with the vacuum breaker cover from Camping World.com.
Pros: Small base footprint, Efficient operation , Flush pedal is better than my old thetford , Flush around bowl is better than rear spray/dribble
A wooden seat can be purchased separately.

We do not have printed instructions on hand to provide. However, there are videos posted on Youtube that instructs on how to replace the water valve. Dometic 300 series Water Valve replacement by Camping World – May 25, 2015
