Bought this as a replacement for the one that came with my trailer. Was told to allow 4-6 weeks for delivery. Got the unit in 4 days. Unit has lock poles - much nicer than twist ones. Really great first experience with CW.

This description came straight from Dometic. I don't know what they are calling click lock poles, but this awning DOESN'T have them. The only reason I bought this one is because of that feature. I wanted something different than the twist lock poles that were on my old awning. But, I have to live with them again...

We purchased this awning to replace the very difficult awning that came with our Mustang Palamino tent camper. WOW! We had read the reviews, and had hoped that our experience would be as positive. It was and more! Our first time setting it up for real camping was great. It took us no more than 5 to 10 minutes. We have a tall tent camper, so the poles were just the right height. The horizontal support poles clicked into their supports, and we finished setting up the camper, then tightened them. It was a breeze. Thanks for having such a great product. Even though we are not very mechanical people, we were able to install the product on our camper without problems.

    Trim Line Awnings

I love this awning. It is so much better than the old self storing awning that came with my 1986 Coleman Sequoia pop-up trailer. I contacted a Coleman dealer and his price was almost $50.00 more and I would have had to drive 40 miles to pick it up. This awning was shipped right to my door within a week. It was very easy to install. The only problems ( and not major ones ) were: 1) the white self storage case was several inches longer than the awning. My awning railing is 10 feet and the awning bag sticks out both sides of the railer though not past the tailer. 2) I had to drill several extral holes in the poles to enable me to lower the front of the awning sufficiently enough to get a good slope for water run off. But this was easy to do. 3) there is only one velco strap on each side of the awning to attack it to the support poles going back to the trailer. Two more straps on each side would be good. I may buy additional straps to hold the edge of the awning to the poles. The support poles going back to the trailer roof were great. They held the awing rigid during so big storms. No pegs and ropes are needed to hold down the awning. I lost my last awning (if was ripped off the trailer by a GUST OF WIND) because the tent trailer body was pushed away from the awning and the pegs and ropes held the front of the awning in place. This will not happen with this awning bace it sways with the trailer, moving in the same direction. Do I love this awning? I would like to give it 10 stars instead of 5. This is a great buy and a great awning. If I can find another awning railing to put on the back side of my trailer I would buy another one of these awnings to shade that side. I love it that much

I used to have a Trimline from 1992 on my pop up. The zipper was gone and the awning was falling apart. It had the old style poles that were seperate from the awning. What a hassle to put up all the time. My new Trimline awning is a snap to put up. i can do it by myself with the poles all attached. Only compaint is I had to drill a couple more holes for adjusting the height of the awning. My pop up sits low to the ground so it is not the fault of the awning. Also kudos to Camping World. It said that it would take 2 to 3 weeks for delivery. I ordered it on wednesday and got it on friday. It took only three days and I had it on my pop up before we left for our weekend trip. Very easy to put together and took less than 10 minutes to install. Thank You for such good and quick service.

WE RECENTLY PURCHASED THIS AWNING FOR OUR SLIDE - IN TRUCK CAMPER. WE ATTACHED IT TO THE BACK OVER OUR DOOR. IT WAS VERY EASY TO INSTALL, IN FACT SO EASY WE INSTALLED IT THE FIRST DAY OF OUR VACATION SO WE COULD USE IT. IT IS VERY STURDY AND WE DID STAKE IT. WE USED IT FOR 12 DAYS IN THE FLORIDA KEYS AND IT ENDURED MANY TOUGH STORMS. IT IS VERY STURDY AND WELL MADE. LOVE IT BETTER THAN THE $700.00 AWNING WE HAD PUT ON THE SIDE OF OUR CAMPER WHEN WE BOUGHT IT. WE WILL PROBABLY ADD THE SCREEN ROOM TO THIS AWNING,ALSO.

Just bought a new, bigger camper. guess what type of awning i put on it? Yup its another trim-line for me. Very easy to put up, no parts to lose or forget to bring, very affordable, and very durable. i dont know what these other users are talking about, my trim-line has never given me any problems. Any awning is gonna have problems in the wind if its not properly staked down. My brother in law even ask me if he could swap awnings with me before i sold my last camper!

It is not a very sturdy awning. It flys up on the slightest wind. The poles bend very easily.
