Surprisingly good!

Had my doubts about a suction-cup-mount mirror. But, if you clean the mirror, and over-extend the rubber mount-cup before ratcheting-down, it stays on quite well. I didn't extend the rubber enough on one application, and it fell off after a couple hours. The safety strap kept the mirror on the car, so there was no damage. They have not fallen off since, with over 20 hours of drive time. They also extend away from the vehicle mirror further than any other strap-on mirror I looked at, which is a plus.

They're inexpensive and work great!

I've used these mirrors for more than 6 years and towed with them for over 40,000 miles. I clean the suction cups and SUV mirrors every time before mounting them. They've never fallen off. It would be nice if they were a little larger and extended more ... but they're much less expensive than specialty towing mirrors (which aren't available for our Chevy TrailBlazer anyway).

Adequate but could be better

It works okay on the driver's side but doesn't cut it on the passenger side. The shaft isn't long enough to extend the mirror out far enough to see much on the passenger side. A friend bought a pair the same time I did and he experienced the same thing. However, neither of us had any trouble with them coming off when towing at 65 MPH and they didn't vibrate much at all.

Mirror Works Quite Well

This mirror worked well on the driver side except for some slippage. After many hours of driving it only fell off once but the cord keeps it on the vehicle mirror.

Good mirror for trailering

This is a good mirror to give added visibility behind the trailer. I was skeptical about it staying in place but it did, only moving slightly.

Once we get them on they work OK. They've never fallen off while driving but when we stick them on and then hook up the trailer they would fall of sometimes. Got a new Expedition and the cord that hooks on the mirror is now too small so can't use them. The mirror needs to be bigger and the extension maybe just a little longer. I haven't found any mirror on the market that works all that great though.

I have used the mirror on my Toyota Highlander and found it very helpful while pulling my tent trailer.

Probably a good product...BUT...

I think the fact that they mount to the face of the mirror is both good and bad. Good in the sense that you can adjust them by adjusting the mirror. Bad in the fact that we have an 8 year old vehicle and the electric mirrors aren't very tight, so you get alot of shaking. I think if the base mirror is solid, these would work really well. I'll probably end up buying a tow mirror that mounts to the mirror shroud so it is more stable. Great in concept!...but sadly didn't work as well as I'd hoped.

Helped a lot

Attached easily and securely on the mirrors of our 2006 GMC Envoy enabling me to see very well around our 26 ft. travel trailer. They made backing into our camping site and our storage site a breeze. They did wobble a bit at 70 miles an hour when wind gusts would blow, but am happy with the purchase.

Good value tow mirror.

Pretty good buy for the price. Suctions are a little hard to stick, and the turn knob parts are on the cheap side. I pulled 90 miles this weekend with little vibration, and the mirrors stayed on. Worth the money.

Great Concept - Doesn't work on Honda Pilot

The concept is great and I think it would work but the mirrior is recessed on the Honda Pilot and the arm/suction cup is straight with limited clearance. If it had a double bend in the arm to go over the edge, I think it would work great.
