Description

Electric waste valve system drains your tank with the flip of a switch.

System is powered by a durable high-torque, waterproof electric motor. Each kit includes 8' of weatherproof wire harness, breaker reset switch and switch plate. Switch light is illuminated while the valve is open. Built in 5 amp breaker protects the entire system and is easily re-set without the need to replace fuses. For use with either black or gray water systems. Installs in any position!

I purchased 2 of these valves back in 2009 (black and gray) to replace my troublesome cable valves, and they have been flawless. They are really quiet too. Since I am a permanent camper I did hook up the 12v power to it's own fuse in the event I want to leave my gray valve open, I just cut the power after opening. I don't know if it would hurt anything to leave them open but there is a red led light in the switch to indicate the valve is open and I simply didn't want to wear it out. Normally, however, I open and close the valves as needed.

I installed two of these valves in October of 2012; one on my Gray Water drain and the other on my Black Water drain. Both drains were operated by pull/push cables between 8 and 10' in length. The Black Water cable kept krimping and hanging up not opening or slow closing. Electric Waste Valves were easy to install and a major improvement that should have been done at least two years ago. We have made two trips since installing them and dumping has never been such a pleasure. Happy camping to anyone who installs these on their rig.
