Our original camper mattress, though not used much, left us with back pain and numb hands after a few hours of fitful sleep. Ordered this mattress and what a difference it has made. No more numb hands or back pain. It is just the right combination of firmness underneath and softness on top to make this a worthwhile purchase. Calling it a pillow top is a little generous, though. Needs a little more pillow to qualify in my book. Also, it is a little wider than our old mattress, even though the specs for our old one and this one are the same per manufacturer. That said, it is difficult to put the fitted sheet on, as our bed is in the slideout and it fits very tightly in there. Still worth it overall.
