This was the original pump in my '06 Itasca. It went dead after a year and a half the day before we were leaving on a trip. I had to buy another one at Camping World and sent the old one to Shurflo for warranty replacement. Kept it for a spare and had to use it last week when the second one wouldn't sense the low pressure when faucets were open. Haven't spent 100 nights in the motorhome yet and already on the third (and last) pump. Very noisy also but maybe if I modified the hoses near the pump it would quiet down.

Well, Shurflo sent me a new pump, after the 1st one started to leak, @ the head, & then started blowing fuses. Actually, nice people to deal with ! As stated, I really like this pump. The new one doesn't leak, but blows the 10 amp fuse in the coach. I feel that a 15 amp controller is what's needed. I'll try that soon, for now I use a 10 amp circuit breaker, instead of a 10 amp fuse, & all is well. If you are a DIYselfer, this is a great pump, just use
yer head, & be patient. As said before, I believe this is being replaced w/the Revolution pump, w/1/2 the hp. Get 'em while you can.

Well here goes. I got this pump in Jan, 2011. It went against all of my common sense, after reading all of the reviews. I have to say, this thing cranks out some H2O !! After a few weeks, it started to drip water out of the head. Hard to say where it was coming from, because, as you know, water flows down hill. I called SHURflo, and spoke w/ a very nice lady. My situation isn't usual. We're dry camping in Key West, and w/o a pump we're, well you know. So I put a shallow pan under the pump, told her of my situation, and she said to peel off the label, and send that to her, and she would send me a new pump ! I hope it gets here soon, but all in all, I really like this pump, and the service they give. FWIW, I asked if they were going to continue to make this pump, and she said no. they are replacing it w/ the Revolution pump, and she offered to send me one of those instead, I declined,
because, as I said before, I really like this pump. Now, if you go to most motor home sites (FW, Tiffin, etc) when you go to the photo section, find the water bay, and blow it way up, and you'll see that most of them have gone to the new Revolution pump. It's the one w/ the
big head on it. I believe it puts out 3.2 gpm. I'll update if, and when I get the new pump.
