Designed for use with low pressure fluids such as fresh water lines in RVs or boats, Sea Tech fittings allow easy connections without tools and accept almost any type of tubing, including copper, CPVC, PEX, LDPE, MDPE, HDPE and polybutylene tubing.
Connectors also allow easy disconnect and tubing removal, making repairs or modifications easier. They rotate under pressure so they are ideal for vibration-prone applications.
Sea Tech connectors join tubing on the outside. Because there is no barb fitting on the inside of the tubing, the flow capacity is increased by more than 30% for greater efficiency. Patent-pending O-Ring Guide insures zero-leak connections.
Make a Connection Easy as 1-2-3!
1. Cut tubing to length and inspect outer portion for damage.
2. Measure insertion depth on tubing end, using insertion depth line molded onto the outside of the connector body.
3. Push tubing into connector until it contacts the internal tubing stop.
That’s it! To disconnect, make sure the system is depressurized, then push the patent pending collet ring squarely against the face of the fitting. With the collet held in place, tubing can be removed and connector can be re-used. Connectors work with copper, CPVC, PEX, LDPE, MDPE, HDPE and polybutylene tubing.
