It works so well I wonder if someone has messed up and sold something that is worth while. You drop the other leg and pin it on the ground and than drop this leg and pin it as close as possible than run the screw foot down. Thats it. You don't need thin boards anymore.

Saves Setup Time

This is a super idea - it allows me to quickly get the feet seated equally and unhook, without danger of stressing the frame from unequal weight on one side. It also keeps both feet on the dirt and grounded, since I no longer use boards for leveling. It is a safety enhancement to keep both feet grounded, just in case something shorts out inside. I bought a second leveler for the other foot, though this is not necessary, but just for additional adjusting capacity.

This makes setting up a real breeze. Proper maintenance is required as with all of your camping gear. Make sure everything is tight before hitting the road.

I have been using these for just over a year. I also chose to purchase 2 which allows me to get both an equal distance from the ground before extending the gear. I have tried to unscrew mine all the way out and have had no success. Perhaps they have changed the design.

Handy Gadget that Works

I've used two of these for over a year. We move around so we set up a couple times a month. Because you never know what leveling may be necessary I put one on each leg of the land gear. They work well, just as advertised and make setup quick and easy. However, there is no lock nut on the bolt shaft, therefore you must fully retract the screw mechanism to its upper locked (friction lock) position before traveling or the bolt may unscrew which would cause the loss of the leveling screw and the foot of the landing gear. I've never had any trouble with them unscrewing if they are all the way up.
