Performed as stated, but we required the 5 inch clear extension to reach up through the hole in the floor of the bay. A little tough to reach under the MH to operate the valves, so bring a kneeling pad. Worth the expense, and cleared up the errors on the led monitor panel that gave false readings. Also brings peace of mind to know your tanks are rinsed out
totally .

We have owned this unit for 8 years now and it still works like new. We bought a
used fifth wheel the first time out used the flush king and WOW you would not
believe how much build up came out. We use it every time and have never had a
problem with our tank probes not reading correctly. Worth every penny!!

Have had my trailer for 7 years, thought we were doing a very good job keeping the tanks clean and well flushed...... WRONG - Not until we used the Flush King did we realize how the tanks were NOT well flushed. After flushing the Black Tank 6 times, we FINALLY got an EMPTY reading on our gauge. Fantastic product!!!!! Will use every time we have FULL hookup. When reading the box it comes with a WARNING!! Make sure
when using the Flush King that when you turn on the water to flush the tank that you have the Black tank valve (or Gray) OPEN before you turn on the water or you will blow the gasket on the Flush King (we learned that the hard way) I called Flush King in California to request a repair kit and the service I received from them was Fantastic - GREAT company to deal with!!

As a fairly new RV'er. I was intimidated by many rv tasks, the toilet being one of them ...this
product is outstanding, easy to use and gets the job done...I was getting some false
readings on the black water gauge and thought I was doing and adquate job cleaing and
maintaining the tank ...Boy was I wrong !!! The first time I used this (after cleaning with a
wand as usual).I was AMAZED at what I saw ......id give it 10 stars if I could.

My second camper kept reading 1/3 full each time I dumped the black water tank. I purchased this and used it and I was amazed at what was left in my tank and after using it my tank read empty. I have recently purchased a new camper and I use this product everytime I empty the tank. It is easy to use and no mess. I recommend anyone who owns a camper to purchase and use, you just think your tank is empty until you use this product.

Plan on replacing after a few years.

I agree that the Flush King should be a standard item for any RV as it gets a black tank cleaner than any other item we have used. Just be careful not to overflow your tanks while back-filling them. However this product does have a life expectancy of about 3-5 years as we are about to purchase our 3rd one in 6 years. The plastic tends to get brittle after a few years and in our case the water inlet valve has broken off leaving the unit totally useless. I have noticed other issues that have been mentioned in other reviews that again shows this product has a very limited life span. This item is also a bit pricey to only last for a short time. Like with most good ideas, poor quality can subtract from the overall satisfaction so I am rating as a 4.

I have used the Flush King since 2006 and it really does a great job of cleaning out my tanks! I had the same issue with a faulty seal as one of the other reviewers mentioned but I called the Customer Service number printed on the label on the front of the unit and they sent me 5 seals by Express Mail. It took me about 5 minutes to replace the
faulty seal and I have not had a problem with it since then. I would strongly urge anyone with a camper to have one of these handy little devices!

SUPER HELPER

This is the best little helper you can purchase for cleaning your tanks , I am a fanatic on keeping them clean ! I even pour a little bleach in them and let sit for a few hours ( hasnt hurt anything yet 04 model ) ...When you are pulling you r camper or driving your motorhome ,keep some clean water in the black tank and poiur a bag of ice in ,the sloshing
around helps clean the tanks and the sensors!!! Happy RVing!

I have had this product for about 5 years now and it has worked great all these years. My only complaint is I never know how long to leave the hose running to fill the tank up. Do people go inside and check their gauge to see the water level? Not sure. Advice? Also, I just went to use it last weekend and evidently the seal between the two parts (held together by bolts) has dry rotted because the water was gushing out between the two parts. But I guess after 5 years of use I can't complain. I just wish I could buy a seal vs. a whole new unit.
