I thought this bed would be lower. As much as our dogs love it, we have to put something for them to step on to be able to get on the bed. Once on the bed, they are in deep slumber.
I thought it would be a little lower, but if it had a fleece linned blanket on top, it would be much better. My Bichon will lay on it if I put a blanket on it.
We have a pretty small lap-dog and this bed is barely big enough for her. Also, it does not come with a storage bag. Other than that, it is a nice product and a good buy. Best of all, it keeps the dog off of OUR camp chairs!
This is our second bed we've bought for our puppy. The first was stolen with our RV. He's really pleased with this new one. It is ideal for him because it is low enough for him to jump into, but keeps him off the ground It is light enough that I strap it to my rucksack when we do overnighters on the trail. It's large enough he can share it with our
friend's dog when we're camping. I would recommend it to anyone with a small to
medium dog.
This bed is the perfect size for a small to medium dog. It sits just high enough off the ground that my small dogs have no problem getting on and off. I like that the dogs are off the ground and able to make themselves very comfortable. I would not recommend this product for large dogs as I think it is too small for them to be comfortable.
Rugged construction and great value. Not a cheaply made product. I would highly
recommend it but not for small dogs. I have a toy Yorkie who weighs 4 pounds and is the size of my shoe. It turned out to be a little high for her. She jumped up into it and really liked it, but had a hard time getting off. Still a good purchase.
