Description

Detect potentially dangerous propane, butane, acetylene and methane (natural gas) leaks in your RV or home.

Pocket-size detector emits an audible alarm and activates a 3-stage LED indicator when the gases are detected at levels greater than 5% LEL. User guide included. Detects gas leaks in pipes, fittings, valves, gas storage tanks, grills, water heaters and home appliances. No calibration required. Uses 2 ‘AA’ batteries (sold separately).

The product works well once you have mastered inserting the required batteries. It certainly is a much easier and cleaner way to detect gas leaks than using a soap and water mixture or a commerical premixed product. The tool stores easily in your RV tool box and the light detector system is easily read in both bright sunshine, low light or complete darkness and in any weather conditions. I'm pleased with my purchase.

I thought I was smelling gas, so I purchased this gas detector to make sure that the gas lines on my trailer were not leaking. Sence my purchase, I have checked the house lines in my house and the houses of my children. A great product for safety and peace of mind.
