The Camco Gen-turi RV Generator Exhaust System is a venting system designed specifically for RV generators that provides for fresher air around RVs as well as reduces generator noise. The Gen-turi utilizes a tubing and coupling system to raise generator exhaust above the top level of your RV. It can be used with RVs utilizing virtually any exhaust pipes size by way of a variety of adapters. Additional features include: lightweight design, a rubberized stabilizing/sound reduction system and a storage bag.

The Camco Gen-turi Air Cooled Generator Exhaust System is designed for near universal compatibility. With that in mind it can be used with any recreational vehicle that utilizes an exhaust pipes with outside diameters of 1", 11/4", 1 3/8", 1 1/2", 1 5/8", 1 3/4" and 2". Adapters required for 1¼", 1?", and 1½" are included. These will accommodate most installations. Adapters required for 1", 1 5/8", 1 3/4" and 2" may be purchased separately.

It is recommended that the Genturi exhaust pipe extend 6" above your RV's roofline. Genturi has an overall length of 120". Please measure your RV for compatibility. 18" extension for taller Rvs may be purchased separately.

Why you need a Gen-turi:

Close quarters at rallies and tailgate parties create a need for noise and exhaust fume reduction. Gen-Turi diverts nasty fumes away from the ground, where they are often inhaled by neighboring RVers.

How Gen-turi reduces generator noise:

Exhaust noise comes from generator vibration and the sound made by gases leaving the exhaust pipe. Gen-turi, secured to the side of the RV with rubber straps, prevents transfer of the generator's vibration noise to the coach. Noise is diverted upward, above the roof line. As a result, in most installations, the exhaust system is quieter with Gen-turi installed.

BOUGHT THIS PRODUCT LAST WEEK THINKING IT WOULD BE GREAT TO HAVE JUST IN CASE. WAS OUT AT FRIENDS FARM TO WHICH WE HAVE BE BEFORE IN THE OPEN FIELD WHEN ALL OF A SUDDEN THE CARBON DETECTOR CAME ON IN THE MASTER SUITE. WENT OUTSIDE NO PROBLEM GENERATOR RUNNING FINE. GUESS THE WIND WAS BLOWING EXHAUST UNDER TRAILER. SO I GOT THE SYSTEM OUT OF BOX INSTALLED IN BOUT 15 MIN. NO MORE NOISE FROM DETECTOR. ONLY PROBLEM IS IT IS ABOUT 9 SHORT OF BEING 6 ABOVE ROOF, EASY FIX. SOME SAY IT GETS VERY HOT TO TOUCH. NOT SO. USED MINE ON A ONAN 5500. EXCELLENT PRODUCT! IT DOES THE JOB VERY WELL! DON'T THINK ABOUT GETTING ONE GET ONE! SURE GLAD I DID AND THE WIFE WAS TO.

Bought the Gen-Turi last year and used it for the first time this summer at Lime Rock Park. The campers next to us were in a tent and using the Gen-Turi kept the exhaust fumes out of their tent. Like others we bought suction cups to mount ours. I bought 4 so I added an additional mount for the top of the pipe so it didn't hit the motorhome. I cut a foam block as a spacer for the top mount and used bungee cords. I am now thinking about getting an extra one for my Aqua Hot burner exhaust.

This is a great product that every coach should have. It is simple to install and remove. It would have received 5 stars if the price was lower and the stack was taller.It should be MANDATORY AT EVERY RALLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Everything fit well and the Gen-turi seemed to work fine. I was surprised that the noise inside the coach was quite a bit lower and no evidence of fumes. However, I wish that I had known ahead of time that I would need an extension to have the exhaust go over the roof.

This is a great product, works JUST like it says. It is a real must anytime you use your generator, exhaust fumes go up the pipe not in your living area

Haven't used Gen-Turi on the road yet but set it up to do my monthly generator run. RV is parked next to my garage and didn't want to melt the vinyl siding. Setup was easy and the product performed as stated. Cleared the top of my RV by at least 1 foot. Used suction cups purchased from Harbor Freight rather than furnished hardware. We use RV parks for the most part but it's nice to know the Gen-Turi will be there when I need it.

I don't know if this has happened to anyone else, but when we returned from our first trip using the Gen-turi Generator Exahust System, our 1 yr old generator in or 1 yr old motor home stopped working. Still runs, but does not produce power to the RV. Currenty in the process of attempting to getting it fixed. No one seems to know what is wrong with it. Also, we cleaned the areas very well before applying the hooks with the sticky tape, however they did not last the 5 day trip.

Stack not tall enough

The basic concept and design is well thought out, however the overall length is about 8 inches too short. As a result, the end of the stack rubs against the side of our motorhome. To stop rub damage to the side of our rig, I tie strapped 1 inch foam around the top of the stack. Other than that, the system works great. It packs nicely into a bag that is easily stored. Tip: wear goes when taking the stack apart, otherwise, you will get your hands black from exhaust carbon.

I found this to be well made and work as advertised. I also like that it's light weight and Installing the clamp on the exhaust was easy. I haven't decided yet whether to rivet the attachments on for the rubber straps or just use suction cups. I would recommend this product.

I had to wrap electrical tape where the sections joined. Bungy straps wrattle also. I had to twist them to help. Top of Tube touches the roof And chattered.
