Received grill from Camping World via FedEx with no apparent damage. Unfortunately, the
igniter didn't light the grill although ...it did produce a spark. Lit the grill with a match hoping
that the problem would go away and only the left hand side of the burner would produce
a flame. Returning the grill to CW would have been a hassle, so called Char Broil who
shipped new burner, igniter and regulator which fixed problems.
If you're new to infra red grills (as I was) they burn a lot hotter and it's easy to
burn/overcook when you first start using.
Looks like a terrific grill out of the box, but the gas regulator device will not fit the grill slot. Can't force it in and it jus...t doesn't fit. You can't just let it hang there without the safety of being securely connected. So I've been on the phone with Customer Service, thought I had it arranged to get a replacement, but when I called again they didn't have any notes from my previous call. I'm not surprised because I had seen that others complained of this issue. Just thought it might have been corrected by the time I ordered one. Either the regulator wasn't designed for this unit or the unit wasn't designed for this regulator.
This is a great little grill that has worked very well in cooking chicken and steaks. The only drawback is the cleaning of the gra...tes. This is a pain as the tool provided does not do a good job of cleaning the grate. The
grate also has to be removed as there a no holes to let the crud drop down out of the way.
The grill fits in my limited storage compartment and cooks all food as advertised, no
flame ups. cleans up easily and is not a g...as hog. I have to get the grill out of the RV
and use at home also. I'm shopping for a larger Car Broil IR for my deck at the house.
Being a picky person I found this grill to be an excellent value for the asking price. The
construction is really stout and the ...aluminum casting is a nice quality piece. It lights easily and
with the tall cover allows for larger items to be grilled unlike other grills.
Over all I expect this grill will give me many years of good use so my purchase was well worth
I have only used the Grill 2 Go a couple of times and it preformed beyond my
expectations. Both chicken and beef came out tender... and moist. Easy to light, heats
quickly, cooks evenly, and easy to clean. Built stout - surprised at its weight - 20-25 lbs..
Very pleased so far.
We are completely satisfied. It lives up to all it is advertised to do....and no assembly
required. We purchased the adaptor hos...e that allows us to hook it up to the belly tank on
our MH. We also have a Charbroil Infrared BBQ at home and we love it too.
This is a great product. My experience was the same as the last two. Mine too had lighting and burning problems. Char Broils excel...lent Customer Service sent a new burner and regulator. Swapped the regulator and all worked perfect.
This barbeque burns HOT and requires a little practice. I ruined my first couple of steaks (unfortunately they were KC steaks so a bit pricey on the lesson) but now do a pretty good job with it. It makes beautiful sear marks. These steaks were not very thick so what time it normally took to sear my steaks would have been all that was needed to cook them. I definitely recommend this barbeque.
I would give this unit 5 stars if you could attach it to the quick connect on a travel trailer.
Pros: Well built, Sears great, Excellent Customer Service
The BBQ work great for me during my 5600 mile trip across 10 states. The Infrared cooking was great. The only thing I wish it had ...was the ability to remove the regulator so I could connect it to my Travel Trailer propane tanks which already has a regulator on it.
We just bought this G2G X200 after our Weber Q120 decided to go after many part replacements. The CB G2G uses Infa Red radiated he...at with interior side deflectors. Cooks really fast with no flareups. Every piece of meat I have put on it has been juicy and moist.
Recently purchased this grill and the extra cover for use with our 30 travel trailer when
we want to cook outside. It took 5 min...utes to put it together right out of the box... piece of
Have used it for grilling steaks and chicken and could not be happier. As far as cleaning
the grill I don't know what some are complaining about. The stainless steel grill lifts
right off of the grill and after cooking I just turn the heat up full blast and let it clean the
grill for about 10 minutes.
I have had this grill for about 3 years and I use it while camping all the time. It's made very well, it doesn't use much pro...pane, and it does not flame up. High temperatures are easy to achieve. It's a keeper.
Pros: Well built, Both the grill and the table work great
I love this grill! It is well built and does a great job. Of all the grills I've ever had, this one is the best! It... cooks food quicker, which allows steaks and burgers to be juicier. Cleaning the grate is not that hard to do although harder than other grills. It is great for all us campers!
Pros: Well built, Great size, Good price, Built strong
Recently purchased this grill for our 30 ft camper and we
love it! Easy to use and easy to clean! Grills the best
juicy hamburge...rs you have ever eaten and chicken is so moist
and juicy as well. We use it more at home than we do camping
now we love it so much! If you are looking for a great grill,
you will not be sorry if you buy this one!
I looked at several grills before buying the X200. This grill is by far the best built and the
highest quality. I’ve used it a c...ouple of times at home waiting to move it to the motor
home and actually I like it better then my big back yard BBQ.
I got tired of charcoal and the wait involved with less than optimal results. I have owned a
CharBroil product before and it was... a quality product. This little grill has exceeded my
expectations. It grills beautifully without flare-up. It is a little heavy, but the weight is
needed to get the quality and results that this grill provides. I would highly recommend
I've owned this grill for over a year and use it all the time. In fact, I like it so much that I
just bought a 2nd one as a gift... for my son so he won't keep borrowing mine for tailgating.
It cooks evenly and without flare-ups, and is as easy to use on the beach as it is for
tailgating and camping. The available carry case (search for it online) makes it even
more convenient to use if you're taking it on the road.
All you need is a small Coleman propane cylinder and a small set of grilling utensils and you're cooking. The carry case even has a place to store 2 propane cylinders and your utensils.
The grill cools quickly and the lid latches securely closed so you can be portable again
within 10 minutes after cooking. Cleanup is easy too with the included grill cleaning tool.
I would highly recommend this grill from CW!
This BBQ is really solid and heats up better than most. The Tru-infrared grate does just what
it's supposed to: delivers even he...at and prevents flare-ups. I would like to see one
improvement from Char Broil, supply a factory accessory hose so this unit could be used
with low pressure propane from my trailers quick disconnect. I'll use the small throw away
bottles for now and rig up a high pressure connection in the future.
This is the best grill we have ever purchased, the fact that we looked
at one directly at a Camping World Store so we could see... the structure really influenced
the purchase that we made on line. The food quality is excellent, just need to be mindful
of cook times as it does cook hot, but we have really enjoyed cooking with it. Thanks for a
Pots/pans of any variation can be used. However, you may not get as much direct heating compared to a camp-stove burner that a pot/pan can sit directly on.

This is for use with the disposable 1 pound canisters, or for direct connection to a 20 or 30 pound refillable tank using an adapter such as item 30338. Not compatible with pre-regulated sources. (double regulation will result in ignition and flame height malfunctions)

Does the grill have a grille for doing eggs & bacon?
This does use a propane burner system, and will typically not be allowed under "no open flame" restrictions. In most cases, the only grills allowed are electric element operated, such as item 59908.

What is cooking surface made of and is it easy to clean?
It can, yes, with the proper adapter hose (such as item 67312 for quick-connect fittings), however there may be issues with double-regulating the flow of gas to the grill.

No, the Grill Carry-All is sold separately.
