Hanger Awns

These should work well for hooking up a sun screen on those hot days where the sun shines in under the awnings. They look to be good quality and easy to use, to that's always a plus.

great hangers, easy to install, heavy enough to hold lots of things other than just lights.

Awning hangers

Hats off to the person who invented these! Simple design, strong and versitile. I first used them to hang a sun shade from the awning. Then I had a banner for a motor home decorating party. Easy to work with and absolutely did the job. Just one suggestion. A 10 foot sun shade has 9 gromits, the packages contain 8 holders. Just sayin' LOL But love them!

I bought four sets of these last year to use on my two RV's. I ran sets of lights along the hooks in the awning tracks on each RV. I was able to fold the awning up and down without the need to remove the lights all season. This year, I'm buying two more sets because two sets on each RV weren't quite enough to get the lights tight enough across the entire awning. Otherwise - they worked great!

Strong little hooks

These hangers are strong enough for small hanging plants in addition or chimes, wind socks or lights. Since they are rigid, they must be removed prior to retracting the awning. Camping World sells some flexible cloth models that may be able to be rolled once the hooks are removed.

We didn't want to just Tape the Lights up every time we setup the Trailer, it didn't look presentable and was tacky. So I purchased these Hanger Awns, they work Great! Sturdy, hold in Place.

I have used many hooks in the past, and these take the prize. I will have these for a long time. Very sturdy and easy to use.

Would rather have bought a hook I can roll up with awning.

These hooks are ok. They do what they are supposed to do and are strong but need to come out every time the awning goes up. In hindsight the kind that roll up with the awning are the way to go.

Work very well. Just have to remove S hook, not the whole thing, before rolling up awning. Very nice product.

These are excellent hangers for lights, wind socks or whatever. They don't slide around when the wind blows. Only draw-back is installing & removing them each time you roll up your awning. I don't recommend keeping these hard plastic tabs in the grove when rolling up your awning (could tear the awing).

The rubber light hooks are great. I do not use the metal "S" hook with them though. I attach my globe lights directly to the rubber insert. The rubber is much better than the cloth (cloth slides and doesn't stay in place, I've tried the cloth) especially since most people tilt one side of the awning when there is rain. The rubber stays in place. No need to take the rubber out when rolling up the awning, just make sure the "S" hooks aren't in. I have a set for my house awning as well.

Rolling up awning

I have used these hangers once, I almost broke my awning when I tried to roll it up with them still in it. Luckily I was finally (after much struggle) able to unroll my awning and take them out. I will probably switch to cloth.

They're OK, but I believe there are better options at CW

While these work OK, I'm going to change to the nylon webbing hangers. When the wind picks up and you need to retract the awning, these (hooks and hangers) need to come out first. The nylon hangers will roll up with the awning when the hooks are removed. As a matter of fact, I don't used the hooks, I use tie wraps. With the nylon hangers, I hope to be able to roll my rope lights in the awing when I need to retract it for wind.

I've used these for several years. They are very easy to use, are not really noticable, and allow for quick and easy hanging of patio lights and kites. we use one to hang our electronic bug zapper as well.

Used these for the first time, easy to install and take down, fit perfectly into the slot on the bar and looked great. I found that one package (5-6 per pkg) wasn't enough, I needed two packs.
