I had read in the rv.net forums that these things are not meant to heat the camper, just to take the chill off the air. Well it D...OES heat the camper (25' Jayco hybrid). Temp went down to 43-degrees last night and I had to turn it down because the camper was getting too hot.
IT WAS A SNAP TO INSTAL, ALTHOUGH THE INSTRUCTIONS WERE NOT VERY CLEAR. I HAVE IT IN A 31 FOOT JAYCO T.T. AND IT WAS 35 LAST NIGHT... AND IT WAS 68 IN THE TRAILER. THIS WILL SAVE ALOT OF PROPANE, AND WITH A SMALL SPACE HEATER THERE WILL BE NO NEED FOR THE FURNACE
WHEN IT GETS EVEN COLDER.
Yes, this heat kit will work in a ducted system. For the 7,000 and 8,000 series, use item 5622. Technical data is available at; http://www.rvcomfort.com/rvp/
