Bought this stabilizer last month and set it up that weekend
in just minutes. It was really easy and I couldn't believe
what a difference it made on my 5th wheel!
You know how they can be, if the wife gets up early to make
coffee, your up also like it or not. You just feel every
move someone makes or if the wind is blowing, (and not all
that hard either) you can't help but to notice. To be
sure, making it as level as possible helps out some, but it
stills moves enough to let you know about it.
But, since I added the Heavy Duty King Pin Stabilizer, you
can feel the difference all through out the unit. No more
swaying every time I step up to the bedroom, or walk through
the living room headed for the kitchen!
We even feel safer on the steps coming in and going out!
It really made that much of a difference for us.
Now don't get the wrong idea, we are older today than
yesterday and younger today than tomorrow, but we are each
only 53 years old and pretty steady on our feet, but thanks
to this stabilizer we feel our 5th wheel is just as steady now.
If you want a more sturdy feel in your 5th wheel, this is
the product I would recommend to anyone asking!

Before I bought this Tripod, I read the reviews and said the heck, if I dont like it I will send it back.. It came via UPS and I pulled it out of the box. The set up was very easy , you basically put the feet on and that is about it. Now before I place the Tripod under the Pin, I got in the trailer to get a feel of how it moves and shakes from side to side and that feeling, that bounce you get when you are walking in the trailer.Once I got the feel, I placed the Tripod under the pin, did some counter clock wise turns and checked it see if the chain on the Tripod was tight. I then went back into the trailer and guess what, IT DID NOT MOVE . I mean that trailer was tight!! SO bottom-line, if
you want the moving to stop, then get this items. I have a Terry Resort 5th wheel at 19 ft and thought my rig was too small for this item, I was wrong. So for me and the wife, it is great, no more shake or movement while we sleep or if the wind blows aganist it.
Also as a note, I bought this and 3 other items as a President Club member and got the discount and the $5.00 shipping for all of it. KA'CHING!!!

Unit works great to prevent movement. I would suggest that legs should be longer. I
had to place several wood blocks under mine to reach king pin. Availability of Extension
legs would be very helpful.

I used to own a TT and one of the things I hated was the motion of it. We upgraded to a 5th
wheel and the 1st thing I wanted was this stabilizer. No regrets, very easy to set up and
works great. Locking feature was a plus.

This Stabilizer does work very well. I have a large 5th wheel so the stabilizer needs to be put on blocks to get the correct hight. I would have given it 5 stars if not for needing to use blocks with it. The construction is well built and it does come with a lock too which is a plus. I wouldn't hesitate getting this stabilzer just know that you are probably going to need blocks to get the proper hight.
