Ultra-Fab Tripod

I bough one of these when we bought our first Jayco 5er, after having 6 travel trailers. It took the "wiggle out of the Jello"! Really works, just crank the 5th wheel a bit higher than level, screw the tripod's "cup" up till it covers the king pin, snug it down, then power down your fiver till it sits firmly on the tripod. Rock solid! And a good strong padlock (not the crappy one included!) and you have at least some anti-theft protection. Heavy, yes, but thats what makes it better than the aluminum version! Honestly worth every penny paid, likely the best thing I've bought for our 5er so far!

UltraFab built a great product here. It really does solidify the entire movement of my 5th wheel. The stabilizer is easy to put together the first time and even easier to setup when using. It's made of steel so it is heavy, but that in itself adds to the strength and stability factor. The included padlock is rather cheasy, I recommend finding a replacement. Other than the weight issue, I highly recommend this product.

Very nice product. Unit is not a cure all, but it does reduce the symptoms of movement a great deal. I would suggest it to friends, my wife and I are very happy with it.

I have any 82 Alpinelite that the axles have been flipped, So it’s very high, I have two young and very active kids that sleep and play over the pin in the two twin beds. This thing works awesome it takes a lot to move the fifth wheel know. It is definitely worth the money.
