Durability of Bike carrier cover

the cover looks and fits fine, but it only lasts about one year. It is not very durable in the sun and water gets inside the bag, I believe, through the zipper or it is simply not water resistant. After a rain the bottom of the bag was bulging with water.

I have used the Swagman cover for 5 years and finally, after a heavy hail storm, I need a new one. I have no complaints on the cover but do wish it had installation/use instructions. I have used it on both styles of Swagman 2-bike cariers and it works fine. I figure $12 a year to give some protection to our bikes is well worth it.
