I've had a pair of these for two years. The screw in anchors are thick metal, pretty long, and go into just about everything except ledge or bedrock. I haven't bent one yet. Easy to set up. Easy to adjust when the wind comes up or stops. The springs work like shock absorbers so the awning doesn't take a beating.
