Honda's lightest portable 3000 watt inverter generator weighs only 77.6 lbs. and offers exceptional portability with a folding handle and built-in wheels for easy towing, plus two fixed handles for one- or two-person loading and unloading.
The Handi has the power to start and run a 13,500 BTU air conditioner, power kitchen appliances, operate computers and electronics or charge DC batteries. Economical to operate-runs almost 8 hours at 1/4 load on a tank of gas. Eco-Throttle extends run time and fuel consumption based on demand. Quieter than most vacuum cleaners, even at full load. Built-in convenience features include a recessed light for after-dark operation; easy access oil maintenance; LED output/warning indicator lights, and built-in parallel ports. Easy recoil start-just switch it on and pull the cord for reliable starting every time. Compact design takes up less storage space in RV, tow vehicle or home garage. As one commenter noted, perfect. This generator truly is that. Quiet, lightweight, good, clean power and one easy pull on the rope starts it. I regularly run a full-size GErefrigerator, some lights, TV and a microwave with it. It runs just shy of 10 hours on the 1.5 gallon tank. I did overflow the gas tank when filling th first time (hard to see), but with anything there are idiosyncracies. It *is* a bit pricey... but it is DEFINITELY worth it.

Now that I used this generator several times, I can offer anhonest evaluation of the EU3000i Handi. The fact that it is
50 lbs lighter than a EU3000is and has wheels and handles makes it easier to transport for 1 person. I could lift the
old 3000, but it wasn't easy. I use this generator whenever I DJ outdoor parties or do outdoor movies. It is very good on gas; better than I expected. I played over 5 hours on it and still had fuel.
Slightly louder than the regular EU3000is, because it seems to idle faster. I am able to power a full DJ setup which includes 1500 watt amp, laptop, CD players, mixer, wireless
mic and LED lighting. If I had to find any dislikes: The oil drain bolt is in a
bad location and you have to put the generator on blocks and go underneath the generator to access it. I would also like to see a slightly bigger fuel tank to boost running time before fill-ups. It is difficult to see inside the tank when adding gas, so pour slowly or you will easily spill fuel. Other than that, I was very pleased with its operation. I
think it deserves 4 out of 5 stars, but I will rate it as 5 to compensate for the premature review I wrote last year.
