The Husky Brute is loaded with features.
With the Smart Stop technology, it uses a planetary gear timing system which shuts down the power to the motor before the nut reaches the hard stop point, eliminating any hard mechanical stop or stress on the jack. Reduces current draw and adds longevity to the system. It also features a wireless remote giving you the convenience of operating your jack from up to 40 feet away to assist in leveling. Less Friction - The Brute is the only power jack in its price range that has a ball screw, which reduces friction compared to the ACME screw used on some other brands. The ball bearings roll through the threads on the Brute's shaft and nut. Allows the motor to work less, draw less amperage, create less heat, reduce noise and increase motor and jack life.

The Brute is powerful, with a capacity of up to 4,500 pounds. It's fast, with a travel speed of 10 inches in as little as 38 seconds. It does the job, with an 18 inch full stroke and 6 inch drop down leg. It's tough, with hardened steel gears. It's secure, with weather protected switches and a water resistant enclosure. It's versatile, fitting all 2 inch and 2-5/16 inch A-Frame couplers currently using a 2-1/4 inch outer diameter jack. It's economical, with a low 25 Ampere draw at rated load. And it's convenient, with three LED work lights, a built-in connector storage bracket not found on any other power jack, and a 30 Ampere inline circuit breaker fuse and inline fuse holder.

The Husky Brute is the new standard in electric tongue jacks. Features include control On/Off, Up/Down. FCC, IC approved. Assist in hitching/unhitching. Makes leveling more convenient when leveling front/rear. Control the jack from inside while leveling refrigerator.

  • Includes 2 keyfobs and 40 foot range
  • Smart Sstop uses a planetary gear timing system
  • Provides 4,500 pounds of continuous lifting power
  • Full 18 inch stroke and it uses 3/4 inch ball screw
  • Less friction since ball bearings roll smoothly through threads where typical screws have resistance

A real must have!

OMG! This jack is great and a must have when using an equalizer setup. I love the remote feature. I have a camera looking at the ball. I just back up on the ball with the remote lower the tongue, then get out to hook up the equalizer and off we go. No more hand cranking up and down to set up. They need to put together a package which includes and backup camera with the remote electric jack. It takes 95 percent of the work out of hooking up.

Love this jack. Works very well - faster and quieter that others I've seen. Installs easily, and remote is a nice extra touch - plus it came with a small level that I wasn't expecting.

Took about 20 minutes to put onto the camper (had some difficulties with the old one coming off). The remote is fantastic so you can jack while doing things nearby.

This electric jack is wonderful. It took me about 30 mins to take the old jack off, and install the new Husky Jack. The video showing the install, is great, keep up helping the customers with videos on installs. Made it very easy for me to put this on. Works wonderful, Thanks so much.

Jack did not work right out of box

Bought one of these last Tuesday (10/14/14); picked it up at Camping World in Cocoa, FL and delivered it to my RV repairman, who was doing other work on my travel trailer (a 60 mile round trip). He called me Friday to say it did not function in one direction. Eventually, Husky replaced it (from a warehouse in Tampa) and the second one works. I am out the labor for changing jacks, the gas, and time. Not to mention the frustration of buying a brand new item (recommended in the new Trailer Life magazine). You have to wonder why Husky does not TEST their jacks when they are manufactured; at least make sure they go up and down!!! - prior to boxing them up. NO QUALITY CONTROL.

Awesome Jack Well Made and Powerful

Manual jack finally broke, went to CW and I bought it, unaware of how well it would work and how easy it would be to install! Box: Directions are not needed, this was easy to install after removal of the old jack, comes with extra washers and I had secondary plate so not a big deal. Wiring was easy to connect directly to the battery, and I used good quality connects and heat shrink to make sure there were no shorts. Jack has a holder for the trailer wire harness, which is a nice feature as mine always hangs down on the ground at campgrounds. I have to say, lifting my nearly 1,000 lb tongue weight and the back of my 2014 F150 Crew cab is no longer an arm breaking task. This is so strong I can now get my WDH to the 4th Link. So much easier, and the remotes are useful, but I leave them locked away so no one touches the Jack after it has been set. You will not be disappointed. If you are looking for a quality project, this jack is it.

I replaced my old jack with the Husky 4500R when the old one broke the gears. The Husky is so much easier to use with the remote and has better lift rating. It makes attaching the weight distribution bars much easier. All in all I am very happy with this jack and would recommend it to anyone.
Pros: Works as advertised

I ordered this power tongue jack to replace a manual jack on my toy hauler. It was delivered very quickly and I finally got a chance to install it tonight. I was amazed how easy the installation went. It only took about an hour to install, including having to drag out my generator and modifying one of the trailer brackets with an angle grinder. I don't know if it's "the norm" for power jacks, but having only one wire to connect makes it a breeze to hook up (it grounds thru the frame). The two remotes are awesome to have, and I'm keeping one in the camper and one in the truck. The jack works smoothly and effortlessly on my 28 ft, 8000lb trailer. If you don't have this jack, you don't know what you're missing! I would highly recommend it as a replacement or upgrade!
Pros: Works as advertised, Extremely easy installation, Reasonably priced
