This should have been designed into the 9100 series converters but wasn't. Thankfully you can get a smart battery charger for a modest price by getting this item for your 9100 series converter such as the one installed in my class A. Installation was a snap and I now have a charger for my house batteries that will adjust the voltage for conditions instead of providing 13.6 volts at all times. This means less time having to run the
generator when boondocking. It has other stated benefits as well but they aren't really pertinent to my situation.
