My old batwing was lucky to pick up 5 channels here in the cities. I installed this puppy today and I'm getting .. 35 channels! Unbelievable. I know many are duplicates but still I am amazed. Beats the crud out of the antenna on the house! One drawback.. My RV is a 1989 class C Winnebago Warrior. Well the roof is one inch thick and this antenna is made for roofs at least 1 1/4 thick. I'm sure all newer RV's have at least that thickness. Anyway, I worked around it and I'm a happy camper.

As anyone knows who uses a satellite dish on the RV you can get local channels only in your home area, The locals give you the networks and that can be important during a veriety of seasons in sports as well as other shows. This antenna lets you aim at the direction of the signal and maximizes your chances of getting the locals in towns along your way.

No problem with this antenna, problem with the installation curved roof had to make a curved spacer. With that out of the way the install was all right, nothing comes easy but at the end the reception is good.

Recommended by a coworker. Best purchase to upgrade the RV. Great picture quality, easy fine tuning. Depending on where one is camping, get more channels than the cable hookup. Installed by Camping World. Definitely recommend this antenna.

I was reluctant to punch a hole in the roof but once that was accomplished and all hooked up and turned on, I was surprised to get as many HD channels as I did (20) and I live approx. 125 miles from Sacramento where most of the antennas are.

I was amazed at the excellent reception and number of channels I received after the install.The install itself was fairly easy. I didn't have to make alterations to my rv, and all of the required connecters were already in place. I highly recommend this antenna. It's low profile makes it very streamlined and nice for traveling.

Love this new a TV antenna..........NO cranking up and down.......no forgetting aboutleaving the antenna up when you leave campsite. This antenna is fixed.........but it doesswivel around 360 degrees. It finds the stations and selects the best location for you to set the antenna. Very easy to use............LOVE this thing................

You would not believe the picture we get with this antenna. We haven't had good luck with the crank up antennas; prefer the stationary ones. This one is so worth the money.

I purchased the Jack antenna for my 85 Tioga. Installed it following the easy directions and now can watch over the air TV with no problems. Best upgrade for a vintage Class C. I have a digital TV and the reception is great. I scan when I change locations and I am amazed by how great and how many stations I can receive. I highly recommend if you do not have a satellite dish.

This was one of my best purchases from Camping World so far. I've bought a lot of 'upgrades' for my fifth wheel, but this one was REALLY an upgrade. Based on reviews, I bought this and installed in place of my stock 'wind-up/wind-down' antenna. The following were my observations: PROS: - The antenna takes up less space on the roof than my old one - stands slightly lower than my A/C unit that it is mounted next to... no increase in RV height. - No more cranking up and down!! Even in high wind, this antenna stands firm, well-built base that mounts solid to the roof. - I used to get 4 channels on my old antenna, 2 good, 1 ok and 1 visible but not audible. Now I get 26 channels over the air!! Of the 26 channels, 5 are in HD (1080i). If I go somewhere without cable hook-up, I'll surely get at least a few channels! - ascetically pleasing internal mount kit... nice lighting, good quality and easy to operate. CONS: - NONE! NOTES: - This is a bit of an install job. I had to cut my roof hole about 3/4 wider than my previous antenna to accommodate the larger rotation shaft. Don't be afraid, it wasn't hard but you should know that some cutting may be needed - get a jigsaw. - I recommend getting a brand-new tube of roof sealant for the job... you want to create a good thick barrier and you may need to fill holes from the old antenna base that are outside of the mounting area of this new antenna. -- I recommend the Advanced RV EPDM Roof Sealant on Camping World (Item # 52114) - You will need a 12v power source near one of your cable jacks... this antenna requires power to work... again, not hard but be aware that some electrical wiring may be required. RECOMMENDATION: Definitely get it!

My husband installed this antenna one weekend while at a campground close to our home. Before he installed it we could view about 6 stations. After the installation we could watch over 20 stations some as far as 80 miles away. This is a great produce and would recommend it to any one.

After about 30 camping days of use this year . I have concluded that this antenna is better than the legendary winegard sensar with wingman, at least in fringe reception areas. Heres why, 1.the sensar is first a VHF antenna. 2 the wingman is a set of director elements which funnel the UHF 8vsb signals to a VHF driven element( the bat wing) which is more directional but does not provide the gain a you would expect .. Bottom line.... It costs slightly more than the Wingman addition to the sensar but works better for me

At home I was able to download 55 chanels, didn't find my favorite public tv station :( the reception on my tv was great at home. I took it camping in Flagstaff but had no signal I believe this was due to having to download stations to the tv.. don't know what happened at home I had stations before I left, none on my trip and when I got home none there either, after re scanning for stations at home all was good. I did not install this myself but my good neighbor who did said he had to call the maker for instructions. I'm very happy with this product but there are a few too many buttons/knobs (3)to be in the right position to have it work right... So for final review it worked great at home(I'm rural so that means a lot) but I haven't tested it up in the woods yet

I have been on one trip since having this antenna installed by Camping World. Southern Oklahoma , WinStar.. Picked up all Local chanels as well as the Dallas area. I Like the way you know the direction the antenna is pointed and signal strength.. Another RV friend has bought one and had Camper World install it too.. The tech at Oklahoma City Camper World did a great job on installation. I recomend them..
