We have a slider on our Rockwood hybrid and while moving around inside, it always tended to shake. These stabilizers keep the unit stable now. They are easy to adjust in height. There is a handle welded onto the nut that lifts the jack up and down. It can't be removed unless you take the unit apart. They're good investment. Made well and will last some time. Be aware they are not for lifting. Just snug them up against the slider rails. If using them in soft soil, you may want to put a wooden block under them to keep them from sinking in the dirt/mud.

We have a 2013 Keystone Sprinter 320 BHS travel trailer (8200 lbs.) with two driver side slide outs. - They work better than I could have expected, no more wiggles! - Light weight, solid in construction, look great and VERY easy to use. - Our slide out arms are 29 inches up from the ground. These reach no problem. - Out of all the things you think you need but aren't sure they will work... THESE WORK! - Great product, great price with the desired results.

I like the look of these stabilizers. The pole like look is much less visible than the tripod style jacks. Strong and easy to use. Note, these are worth the expense.

My husband was so tired of our travel trailer always being out of balance(leaning). we only have one slide out in our 30 foot trailer but this product has helped so much with the leveling and we can tell on how stable also. LOVE it. Husband got two 2x4 and put them under the slide out then tightened up the jacks worked perfect. couldn't ask for anything better. will be buying more when we get fifth wheel.

I bought two sets. One set for each of my back slide outs which expand the living area. I have been RVing for 11 years now and I wish I had purchased these sooner. They really do the job and stabilize the 5th wheel and prevent the side to side motion. I have the 6 point auto leveler's which provide good stability. But adding this product took the stability to another level. No more swaying in high winds, it limits the bouncing and rocking when someone walked or enters the RV. Also very easy to install and take down, so it can be used easily even if you move a lot as I do. I am really satisfied with this product. I would recommend to anyone.

What can I say? They work as they should. Easy to place under the slide and seem to help with the shake we use to feel side to side. So I would say if you have some side to side movement when walking around your unit, try these, I don't think you will regret buying a pair.

I got these to lessen the strain on the slide out and stop movement when walking inside travel trailer. I've used them a few times and they seen to make a difference in the amount of movement inside when someone is walking. These are sturdy and all metal. Nothing will completly stop movement, but these do help.

    stabilizer jacks that work

    December 03, 2012
I found these stabilizer jacks great -- they helped to stabilize the whole RV by stabilizing the over hanging slideout. One thing that I did was to put rubber cushions between the ears of the stabilizer because the ears would have punched through the bottom of the slideout and it also helped to keep them from sliding on the stabilizer track or dmaging it. I was glad I got them.

My wife and I are new to the slid outs for camping. We just bought a 34' travel trailer with dual slid outs. We got this kit for the dinette slid out hoping it will help with the normal wear on the unit as we have two younger kids too. So far used a few times and has worked great. Haven't sunk into ground and even been in the rain no rust signs. Easy to store in the outside storage and very easy to set up.

    Stabilizers That Work

    July 22, 2010
Our entire 5th wheel rocked anytime we walked or moved. I ordered a King Pin Stabilizer and the Jack-in-a-Box slide-out stabilizers to help. Last week when we camped I set the slide-out stabilizers first and the difference was so great that I didn't even have to use the King Pin Stabilizer. These things work great and removed almost all movement. They're wonderful!

Bought a set for my three slides. Dutchman and Dealers say not to use them but I think they are full of it. They are not ment to totally support your slide just help with bounce and sway. If used correctly there's no problem. If I could get one for the bedroom slide I'd do it to. I recommend using jack pads to prevent them from sinking into the ground. Highly recommended product.

These work very well. It does balance out your slide outs. The only thing is if you are in soft dirt, mud or rocks, you will need to adjust them again because the bars will set in and adjusting is need again. Other than that, I recommend this product.

I am a rather large guy 350 lbs. My buddy who ones an older model trailer told when he bought it the pop out bars were bent by the previous owner because they did not use stabilizer. My wife and I just purchased a 2007 Skyline 30' Weekend and I didn't want to experience the same problems down the road. So I purchased the stabilizers. They are great and a snap to install. I can now comfortable sit on the couch or dinning room table and not have to worry about my weight affecting the pop out. Great product! I highly recommend it to others.

    Slide-Out-Stabilizers works great with movement

We are now full timers and used the stabilizers on our 2007 Montana. We have 4 slides but have put the set on the biggest slide. We have only had the stabilizers for a short time but already feel the difference with the movement. We have a washer and dryer and it use to shake pretty bad. This has helped a lot. It just feels more solid when you walk. I think it will also help over time to keep the slide for sagging. We are going to purchase sets for the TV/desk area and the kitchen slide. I would give this product a A+... Debbie in California (formally Missouri)

Purchased a pair of these stabiliizers for my 5th wheel Outback L/R superslide. Were in place for two months. Well satisfied with the sturdiness of the slideout. After two months, no rust. Warning:just watch your fingers when making the tension adjustment. These stabilizers sure beat a jack sitting on wood blocks. Will be purchasing another pair for the Cardinal 38ft 5th wheel wife and I have ordered (two L/R slides).

I have a 38' fifth wheel with 4 slides. The living room slide is long and wide. I always had a problem with alot of movement, especially with the washer/dryer running. I bought a set of these and it helped dramatically. I am going to get another set for the other side to help stabalize it even more. Would like it if they had a little larger base.

After my previous bad review, I have talked to many about this issue. I have decided to use the stabililzers and rated them better since they do what they claim to do. The only warning that I can think of is for Class As and Cs that use a stabilizer system for the coach body. If that system should suddenly fail, the slide-out could be damaged when the coach body drops. This is not an issue with my 5th wheel.

Actually these make pretty good side to side stablilizers for the back end of a Class C. I have a 30' Four Winds where the back end hangs about 10' off the rear tires. Until we can afford a much expensive permanent solution this does a good job of keeping the coach stable. The U shape fits nicely to the frame without slipping too.

I used these under my TT super slide out. They do the job. Be sure to pull the top of it out first so you don't spend all day screwing down the stabilizer to the right height you want.
