great grill but it needs a top rack in it so you can warm things while you cook.

This item is very well built,and an ingenious design with ease of storage in mind....Very heavy gauge metal, the firebox is a separate,stand-alone unit,allowing for it to be taken out and emptied while still containing embers,to facilitate storage sooner. The design of this even goes as far as having a heat-shield piece that goes on the outside bottom...Kudos ! Overall the unit is well built and well designed,and I expect to get years of use out of mine. The great advantage this unit has is that you can clamp the lid closed and contain all the great smoke for flavor...but I do wish it had the vent holes in the top for those times I want the fire to go its own way...... I will and do recommend to any who may think of purchasing this to go ahead and do it it, the surface area may be small compared to a normal grill, but this one still tops them in my opinion for its other advantages. Both camping world and the manufacturer went above and beyond to help me with my difficult shipping situation,purchased it as a a gift to be delivered and held by the Post Office,not knowing that they ship via UPS. ...And it Smokes up a great flavored steak every time.....Will be purchasing a second one soon... !!!!
