This chair is heavy duty and works just as the demontration showed. It is easy to unfold and close back up. Not too heavy to carry either. If you are a heavy weight it will be very comfortable.

I ordered 2 chairs, and one was broken when received. 2 of the 4 central hinges were broken. I contacted Kelty, and they wanted me to ship it back, and they would replace it. Being a fulltimer, I am not in one place long enough to know where I would want to have a replacement sent, so I asked them to see if they could send me a couple of new hinges, and I would install them. I didn't want to go through all the hassle with big shipments, and trying to get a new chair when all I needed were 2 simple plastic hinges. The second go round was suggested by Kelty that I destroy the chair I had, and send them a picture of the destroyed chair, and they would then send me another chair. Trying to do my part for a greener world, I didn't like that idea, and finally 2 mos. later, I'm still waiting to be notified when they get some new hinges from China. Hopefully they will be in shortly. The chairs are extremely comfortable, and I just want parts to fix the broken one. I would recommend them to anyone needing a good sturdy chair, and I think the problem I had was just a fluke. The chairs are extremely well built with quality materials, and should last for a long time.

The chair is so comfortable that we not only got four for ourselves but gave two of them to camping friends. As I got older its too hard to get out of those hammock style chairs and the Captains chair is like getting up from a comfortable office chair. The cup holders keep glasses from sliding off and my favorite Kindle book fits nicely in the side pocket.

We bought two of these chairs from Camping World in Spokane Valley. I found them easy to fold and unfold. The chairs gave us a solid feeling when we sat in them and the tray table was just great. We have used them several times and had no problems with the build quality or operation. These chairs easily fit into our travel trailer

Love everything about this chair. Very solidly built, fold small for storage, and love the tray. Took a while to figure out how the locking system works. Just pull or push the bar underneath on the side opposite of the tray to collapse or lock in place.

Purchased April 4, 2012. Broke on first outing. Camping World replaced promptly. Then the replacement broke. I'm through with this product line.

The chair does fold into a small area, and the carry handle is a nice touch. However, I found the chair a little difficult to fold - my wife definately did- and wobbly. It just didn't have a nice solid feel to it. The worse thing is when we both went to sit in it. The back of the chair is not supported well and sitting in the chair forced us too far back and the front part of the chair came off the ground. My wife found it a little unsettling also. I am only 5-feet 8, and I think that a person taller than me would find themselves a bit top heavy in the chair. I have sent them back as I do not feel good in the chair.
