Great improvement in lighting and these made reading a lot easier. Even my 90 year old father-in-law commented on the improvement. It is too early to tell how long they will last or how much battery power they save, so only 4 of 5 stars. We are very pleased with the daylight white bulbs and would recommend they to anyone looking to make reading easier on the eyes. The light is a little more concentrated than the old bulbs but not a problem for us. So far, well worth the cost.

LED replacements for RV 912 type 12V incandescent bulbs

I am very happy with the bulbs. I personally like the whiter daylight color better than the yellow incandescent bulbs. I did current measurements before and after the LED install and 12 LED bulbs are drawing about the same current as one incandescent 912 bulb. Very satisfied with the low current draw for those dry camping days. Only down side is the cost...they are not cheap. I replaced the bulbs used most frequently and left the standard 912 bulbs in lesser used lamps.

Replaced all of the old incandescent blubs in our trailer with LEDs, and although its a bit of an investment, I could not be happier. The light color is better (especially for older eyes), the lights stay cool to the touch, and the replacement process was simple. For the majority of our lights, I used the directional, square array product, but these are great in the swivel spot style fixtures we have in some locations.

These bulbs are a fantastic upgrade. A little pricey, but worth it! I dry camp a lot and buying these bulbs is MUCH easier than being in hot water for trying to minimize light usage after gen. is turned off! They are brighter and use about 1/8th of the power. I almost have all of mine replaced-couldn't afford to buy 14 at once (ouch)

Purchased a total of eight of these bulbs to replace the older style 921 incandescent bulbs in the light fixtures above the vanities (four in each fixture). The amount of light given off by these LED bulbs is far superior to the incandescent bulbs. The light is also much more white as opposed to the yellow light given off by the older bulbs. The main reason for replacing the incandescent bulbs was the heat. I noticed how hot the ceiling got when the vanity lights were turned on and it was shocking. These LED bulbs, in addition to the superior light, the less energy used and all those other advertised reasons for switching to these bulbs, simply burn cooler. No more hot spots around the vanity light fixtures.
