I found this product overall to be good. It was easy to install, picture quality is good, and it makes it much easier to hook up the trailer. The negative to the product is cell phone interference. The receiver will quite often shift back and forth from camera to gps, if there is an active cell phone in the cab of my pick up. Otherwise I have enjoyed it.

I bought the Magellan backup camera to use with a Road Mate Pro for display. The instructions say to connect into the backup circuit, but I wanted a switched power source for occasionally checking my towed vehicle. Magellan tech support was of no help despite repeated inquiries for clarification, and eventually responded with a threat that warranty would not cover any other install. The specs were of no help either, and I wonder if the camera or associated wireless transmitter is only designed to be briefly powered. Othetwise, product was easy to install, works as represented and produces a crisp image.
