expensive giant salad spinner

i like to wash my clothes by hand but lately I can't wring them out well because of my arthritis. so I thought this might be a good alternative. It is just like I imagined a giant salad spinner. you put the water soap and clothes in turn the crank a while then turn the knob that opens the drain and spin the crank. It doesn't hold very much, only 1 or 2 shirts.at a time, and it doesn't clean very well. The clothes don't agitate enough.(they kind of sit there while the basket turns around them). but it does get more water out than when I wring them by hand. So now I wash them by hand, then rinse and spin in this manual machine. I think that this item is overpriced for what it does. It would be better if there were some sort of paddle to push the clothes through the water, and if the ratio of the crank to spin was higher. without these changes I would not recommend this product.
