If your creative you can install it from the inside of your RV Just Measure carefully and take your time. It's safer than crawling on the roof.

I just installed this upgrade on my new trailer. it is perfect and works fine with the high capacity fan that I installed at the same time.It is easy to install and the hinged attachment is terrific for maintenance.

Great product, easy install as demonstrated by video. Before you order, pay particular attention to where your vents are to accommodate the footprint of the cover once installed. Fortunately, I had about 1/4 inch of wiggle room for the install of the cover for the rear vent (e.g.,any more then the rear of cover would have been off the rear edge of the RV).

In the Florida heat my trailer was getting too hot and mildew was forming-I could not leave the vent open because of the daily rains-After installing the unit, I now leave the vent open 24/7 and it moves the air nicely. It was an easy installation and the video made it even better

THIS MAX COVER COMBINED WITH THE MAX FAN 4000K MADE A HUGE DIFFERENCE IN OUR TRAVEL TRAILER AIR CIRCULATION , NO MORE STUFFY AIR AND LINGERING COOKING SMELLS , LEAVING THE FAN ON WHEN YOUR OUT IS NOT AN ISSUE ANYMORE , AND RETURNING TO A COOL AIR FRESH TRAILER IS GREAT , MOVES A LOT OF STALE AIR FAST AND THE COVER ALLOWS MORE VOLUME OF AIR MOVEMENT , NO WATER INSIDE YOUR TRAILER SAVES HUGE ON REPAIRS , EASY TO CLEAN LIFT HINGE IS A HUGE DELIGHT

These covers are a breeze to install. They sure aid in creating a breeze when mounted on the Fantastic Fan vents. Compared to the old covers, with the new hinge mounting system they are a real breeze to keep clean. I now leave my vents open part way when stored so the air temperature inside can stay with the outside temp, thus avoiding condensation and water damage. I was not real crazy over the added cost above the old style covers however, so get your PC membership and watch for the sales.

Bought a couple of these to replace some old original Maxxair vent covers. Have a different mounting system so I had to drill new holes. Other than that very happy with the increased airflow, it does make a difference. The hinge system also makes cleaning a lot easier than the old ones.
