It is surprising to see that anyone still has this in stock. I have used successive versions of Streets & Trips for many years. The 2011 issue was the last of a good run. While not listed, it works perfectly with my Windows 10, 64-bit desktop and notebook. Used as a desktop, laptop or notebook trip planning software program, for me, its indispensable. If you print it, the paper printout provides an overall map with a choice of strip or turn-by-turn maps with instructions, or only instructions. You can choose the same daily start and stop times as a default, then change each day's start & stop times as your planning matures. Stopping points for shopping, meals, specific fuel stops, and the projected time and duration for each stop is easily input. When used during a trip with the GPS antenna plugged into your portable computer, it directs you along your chosen route. In my motorhome I use a Rand McNally GPS but always trip plan with Streets & Trips 2011. Many features and assorted choices for on-screen information while traveling is easily selectable. If putting in an address, such as for Camping World or a Costco with gas. It shows the address on the map and instructions. During planning you can elect to change the name by adding to the address "Camping World: or "Costco." Lots of Points of Interest (POI) are contained in memory and selectable by category and location, such as around a specific location or along the route. Bear in mind, since it's no longer updated, the POIs and road construction information will be out of date. You will likely have ample other resources for this shortfall. By inputting estimated city and highway miles per gallon and estimated price per gallon plus fuel tank capacity it can show when fuel stops are recommended. The last page of the printout can show total trip mileage. The instructions show time and mileage at every way point and estimated total fuel cost.
Pros: Creates trips and prints on paper
Cons: This is no longer supported by microsoft
