Very stable, strong output. Bough it for wineguard carryout sat dish, but is stable enough for much more sensitive items.

this is a very good product, you can run various 12 volt items on it. this is my second one . I run a 12 volt cooler from it,and it does a great job.also runs various chargers, phone etc.

Power Converter Works well with small 12v products

I bought the converter for use with a 12v Fantastic fan and 12v Coleman cooler while on shore power. The converter worked well with each of these products. I tried to use it with a 12v air pump to inflate bicycle tires in the garage, however the amperage of the air pump was apparently too high for the 5.8 amp converter...it (the air pump) simply did not start up.I like the converter design better than the one that came with the cooler. The AC-side plug-in cord is several feet long and hence can be plugged in to any hard to reach AC socket. The converter which came with the cooler is designed so the box must be plugged into the wall directly, which is often quite cumbersome.Overall, I am satisfied with the Nature Power AC/DC Power Converter and would recommend it to anyone considering low amperage conversion.
