I've never reviewed anything before, but had to comment here. When I purchased this grill several years ago, there were two different packages available. Upon comparing, I found that the one made by Olympian had better quality components than the one made after Camco became the distributer. The parts were cheesier, made-in-China cheaper-looking. I chose the original Olympian and have been very happy with it (enough that I recently gifted it with the cover and stopped using it's cut-up box to store it.) Upon reading the other reviews, I hope I never have to replace it.

I have had an early model for 12 yrs. Got this one less than a year ago. It has rust on the legs, burner has rusted, grill grate has lost its finish, over all the cast shell is
thinner and the temperture guage hasn't worked after 2 months. The other grill lasted 12 yrs. this one will be junk
this year.

We bought this grill and when we got home to assemble it, one of the legs was missing. We were 80 miles away from Camping World so it was not conveinient for us to return it. The makers of this grill need much better quality control. We will think twice about buying products like this from Camping World.

Best Grill Purchase

If you have to bend over to lift your grill out from under your RV storage
compartments then this is the grill for you. This is the lightest grill around yet with large surface, high enough lid for smoking and sturdy construction. We used our last one for around 8 years and just purchased another - the great price at Camping World makes it worthwhile buying a brand new grill rather than replacing the interior parts (which gradually rust away on all grills - even the very expensive stainless steel models - from high heat). Easy to set up on a picnic
table or the ground. Easy to light - get a GasMatch for 99 cents at a flea market and forget the expensive grills with pushbutton lighters which all quit working after a few months. The Grill Bag for cleaner storage is a worthwhile extra accessory purchase and will last for years.

I received the grill via UPS. The shipping box was in good shape. But the lid of the grill was cracked. In my opinion, the cast aluminum is too thin and the factory (not Camping World) packing is insufficient; the result is a damaged grill. I returned the grill for a refund. The customer service was good, but the product quality was poor.
