I am pleased with this product. So far, we have not experienced any surges while hooked up to electricity. We have a 26ft Flagstaff travel trailer and it fits our needs. I have read horror stories about not having a surge protector so I feel it is a good investment.

This is my second 30 amp Surge Guard. The fist lasted around 10 years and was in use all the time and on several times saved my RV with very little on damage when others lost breakers and converters.

After having a family member who had costly repairs due to an electrical surge, I decided to purchase the surge protector. Now I have the peace of mind that I am protected and the surge protector works great. The price is very reasonable as well. Would recommend to others to purchase a surge protector like this one.

Purchased this item after hearing horror stories about how electrical surges caused so much damage to rv's. Now i can relax knowing that we are protected from surges at camp grounds. I even use it when pluged in to my residence electrical system. It is a no brainer spend a few dollars now or many dollars repairing your total rv's electronics.

I have only used the surge guard once, so I don't have any negative or positive things to say about its performance. However, I do feel confident that if there were an electrical problem, the surge guard will do its thing and protect our trailer. The ordering process was flawless and the delivery was ahead of schedule!

Before purchasing this surge gard I knew that I was depending upon luck to keep our travel trailer safe from an electrical accident. After hearing two fly club members talk about their troubles with oversurges and no grounds from the campgroud system they had been camped with (and the expenses that they incurred to fix the problems) I knew that I had to take the plunge and buy a surge guard. I found this one at Camping World and as always the purchase went smoothly and it arrived before I expected it. We have used it and have not had any electrical problems with our trailer. I sleep better when camped out now, knowing that we are protected. For the price it costs to fix a problem vs. the cost of the surge guard how could you not buy it better and sleep better?

Thankfully, our RV has never been hit by lightning while camping, so I can't tell you it works great. But it will definitely help keep our appliances &TVs from getting fried if we get a power surge.
