It seems to be working properly. No problem so far. It did fit the park outlet that I'm a seasonal camper at. It's been installed for a week now. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 due to the campground power supply not be taxed because of it being fall season. When summer comes and everyone's AC is on, then we'll see for sure.

It was a hot day when I connected it for the first time and had both air conditioners turned on so when it did turn on it created a power surge and lost four strip surge protectors I had my computer and printer on but it fried the four strip protectors I had in the coach, tv in the basement compartment, central vacuum, cell phone charger and the fuse in the refrigerator. I didn't find out about the refrigerator until I was completely out of propane and discovered that the refrigerator was switched to propane when it blew the electrical fuse. so had to spend $150.00 for service call for the refrigerator. don't know if it works or not because have not yet experienced a surge from the electrical post So..... lesson is to turn off air conditioners and all electrical before you connect to the electrical post just as you do without the surge protector. It was an expensive lesson.

First camping trip with my new Surge Guard and was not able to use it due to the plug in being too low to the ground. Not an impressive start, hopefully better luck next camping trip

Going to be taking a long trip staying at strange campgrounds so I wanted protection. Went to a campground I often use and the inlet cord was too short to clear the bottom of the electrical box. When I called the company they were aware of the problem but were unwilling to offer any helpful solution. Basically too bad too sad. I am now going to spend another $20.00 for an 18 in extension. The cord supplied is about 1 inch too short for some electrical boxes. The poor rating is for the poor customer service attitude.
