My portable firebowl arrived yesterday. I too had to modify one of the legs before I could use it. The box says designed and tested in the USA, but manufactured in China. And the instructions advise not to overload and only use two or three logs. The picture on the box clearly shows at least four logs on the fire. Also, the instructions warn you twice, ONLY use untreated wood for fuel. The pictures on the box shows them cooking using charcoal! So, what are you really supose to do?

Ideal for a ready made, safe and portable fire pit. Stores neatly in it's own cover. Allows you too locate your evening visit with neighbors without worrying about embers up under or on your awning. Have always stayed away from the park fire pits because they were situated too near the coach. Now we can enjoy an evening fire, cook on the grate, and place the screen over the fire to reduce the chance of embers escaping and creating a hazard. When the unit cools down, the legs can be removed and the whole thing zips up in it's own bag for storage, inside or out of the RV. Unlike a permanent campfire, you are insured that the fire is out and no chance of spreading to the forest/grass'.
