I purchased this (50A Male/30A Female) power grip adaptor for use in campgrounds where only 50A service was available for my 30A travel trailer. I have subsequently used it on several occasions where the 30 A plug at the pole was either badly worn or broken. The grip is nice for safely connecting or removing the adaptor from the park power post. I would recommend purchasing this adapter for just those situations.
