Ten elegant clear prismatic shatter-proof globes diffuse light from standard light bulbs up to 60 watts (bulbs not included). Heavy-duty white coiled cord resists tangling. We've had two sets of these for many years, one colored and one clear, have found them durable and attractive and they've garnered many compliments. The bowls will break if dropped on hard ground. The only small problem I've found is that dirt collects dreadfully on the white coiled wire and it's a long tedious job cleaning it, or if you leave it long enough, as I have, it gets to look like a solid black wire!

I purchased this set almost 10 years ago. They have hung outside at the coast everyday and night since then exposed to wind rain and all weather. All except two bulbs still work and I believe they can be repaired. I have ordered a new set for a new covered patio. They produce a very bright yet soft light.
