I installed a set of these 5 years ago to make the process much easier to fill my house
batteries. Without this filler unit, I would have to disconnect all house batteries and
remove them from the pull-out tray. With the auto-fill, you simply connect to the first
manifold and allow distilled water to siphon out of the water container. When it is full and
just starts to over flow, I stop and wash off the spill with plenty of tap water.
