easy to install . works as advertised . easy to use . i have never used a controller nor installed one . this unit was a breeze to install and made me very comfortable to use . unusual for any item purchased these days .

I purchased the Prodigy 2 because of the 360* mounting option. It replaced an old Valley time delay brake. It installed in 10 minutes (wiring was already in place) and another 15 minutes to program. When I'm towing you don't even feel the trailer as you brake. There is none of the jerking motion like with the time delay models. Highly recommend!!!

Well, I was finally able to use this product and it has lived up to everything that I have read about it. Very smooth stopping. very user friendly. Install is a snap! After using this product I can hardly tell I was towing a 4,600 lb travel trailer. The service tech that assembled my hitch for me the day I picked up my trailer also adjusted the controller. Basically made sure that it was at the factory setting of 6.0. When I asked him if it was a good controller, he said yeah, it is. Top of the line! Its what I use in my own truck So when a service tech at an RV Dealer raves about it and uses the same controller. That's good enough for me!! I would definitely recommend this product! I know there are cheaper controllers out there and I almost bought one myself. But was urged not to scrimp on safety and the cost of my Truck as well as new trailer. the extra money is well worth the fact knowing that I have one of the best!

Just purchased this product along with a WD hitch. Ordering was painless. Both products arrived in 4 days. Install was a breeze after watching the how-to videos. I am by no means a mechanic but the total install was a breeze and time was approx 30 minutes. Could've been a lot sooner but we all know how much fun it is working under the dash can be when your trying to mount something. Product came with all hardware needed for install, including the connectors. I have yet to use the controller as im still waiting on the travel trailer i ordered. But if all reviews are truthful, (and they seem to be up to this point) I don't for see any issues. Would definitely reccomend this product.

I did a lot of online research, and felt that the Prodigy P2 had the features that would work with my 15,000 pound 5th wheel. Last weekend we took our first trip. After adjusting the maximum rate, when I put on the brakes, the trailer stopped. No jerking. No fuss. I released the brake, and started up without jerking. I tried a couple panic stops, and the truck/trailer stopped just about as fast as the truck would alone. I'm very impressed, and very satisfied.

What an awesome controller! I installed it on a 2004 Honda Pilot for my cargo trailer. Installation was not easy because there was no factory connection under the dash - and one does not mess with Honda wiring unless one is exactly correct! But once I learned which wire was the brake light switch signal, and made a very careful penetration of the firewall (a real bugger to access!) for battery power (use a 30A breaker) and brake power all else was pretty simple. The braking action with this controller is light-years ahead of my other truck's controller - so proportional, smooth, and perfect that I had to check the mirror to make sure the trailer was still connected to the vehicle! This product is worth the extra money for sure. Get one, you won't be sorry.

At the time I first started camping we bought a Wal-Mart brand. We just couldn't take all the snatching and jerking when breaking, even jerking to ease up at a red light (I did adjust them and it didn't help any). I bought the Prodigy and have been extremely satisfied! I pull a 28' travel trailer with a F150 4x4. Very smooth when breaking!! Highly recommend this product!
