More elastic than silicone sealants, and has superior adhesion.
Displaces water and ensures a watertight seal. Bonds to virtually every RV material, even when damp, oily or frozen.
Applies on wet surfaces. Stays elastic and paintable. Clear. Not recommended for use with rubber roofs.
Works and seals great. I brushed it on all vents on my roof and had plenty left over. A lot easier than the tube caulk having to smooth with your finger.
Roof of conversion van was torn up when almost new, created a few holes that were professionally repaired. Of course, repairs eventually rusted out and more repairs were needed and done. Not long after, rusty holes came back again, like a cancer, so I decided to try this product for a functional, albeit not cosmetic, fix. Well, after many months, it looked like a failure from a distance. It looked bubbled up and deteriorated.
But, upon closer inspection, I found that even though the original rust was showing through, that the damage remained totally sealed against moisture, even after weathering many moons of Florida downpours and blazing summer sun. I am going to add another coat from what i have left and then paint it (yes, note that it is paintable!). And right now, I am in the process of buying more in my Camping World order. I always
want to have this miracle product on hand in case our RV ever springs a leak in any of the hundreds of places where it could happen. This stuff can be applied to surfaces that are wet, oily, or dirty, doesn't matter. In my 60 years on Earth, I have not seen a more versatile and effective product. Best of Luck!

The limitations on surface types in the manufacturer's information are to avoid; polystyrene insulation sheathing, EPDM rubber, and some plastics (also do not use on a surface where food may be processed or stored).

I have a small trailer 8'x 12' stripped to the wood, and need to re-roof it, is this a product that will do this?
by mexfishguideJanuary 12, 2013
This product will seal the roof material against leaks and sun damage. It is not necessarily intended as a roof coating by itself.
