my pump has the push on clips which created a bit of trouble. i had to
run to my local rv store for an adaptor. after figuring out the needed
parts it was a breeze. installed i just a few minutes. tried it out when i
had to winterize. it worked great. winterizing only took 5 minutes and
about a gallon of anti freeze.

Warning! This kit is not designed to adapt to the new style Flowjet water pumps that use the push-on O-ring style hose fittings. This kit is designed to be used with pumps that have threaded fittings. Check out what your pump uses prior to purchasing this kit. I was able to adapt this kit to my unit by purchasing (2) additional 1/2" NPT Female
to 1/2" I.D. male barbed hose adapters and (2) aircraft style hose clamps. I added the Brass adapters to the supplied ball valve, and then sliced it into the water supply side hose ahead of the pump. The 10 minute installation time ended up taking me almost an hour due to the run to the hardware store for the needed adapters. The supplied ball valve seems to be good quality, but to make it work with this style
pump I had to spend almost as much for the additional adapters as I did for the original kit. Hope this helps someone who might be going through the same issues.
