Its side vent design promotes better airflow than other vent covers. The exterior is made from high impact polypropylene with UV protection. No need to drill in your RV roof- hardware is included to mount to existing 14" x 14" roof vent flange. Stainless steel mounting hardware will not rust.
Note: Not recommended for use with fan vents.

Easy to install, good way to protect your skylights

I bought this to add a little extra protection to my skylights. My trailer is at my deer lease most of the time, and I worried about it getting hailed on and damaged when I'm not there. These give me a little more piece of mind that I won't come back to busted out skylights.
Only suggestion might be to substitute self-tapping screws for the bolts and nuts that you use to attach the brackets to the skylight housing.

This is as as good of quality than more expensive units, the hardware is all stainless steel, they fit fine over the vents, easy to install, not as tall as others by about 1 inch or so, vent
does not open quite as far, but with side vents i don't see any restrictions or problems venting. Good price and looks like a good product. Shipping time was very fast.

I purchase the vent cover and installed it. the thing I noticed was the hardware is kind of lite. Could be of a stronger material. havent been on any trips yet. we'll see how well they work on the road. satisfied with the fit.

The vent cover looks alright, but the mounting system seems pretty flimsy. Haven't had the chance to drive highway speeds yet, to see if it holds up. Well built cover, if it holds up. Will do a follow up report.

I ordered this right after experiencing just how much rain can get in if you leave the roof vent
open then go on a long hike! Same kind of rain happened again, put NO water got in this
time!

This vent cover was easy to install. The vent cannot open all the way; however, on my old MH, I had installed the Max Air vent covers and they couldn't open all the way with those either. The measurements on this cover are 21.39 W, 21.41 L, 9.26 H. It came with the hardware to install and requires no holes on the roof of the rig. The side vents
make a big difference in the air flow.

I bought two of these for my 18ft travel trailer that I actually live in part time. I was tired of
not being able to use my bath fan when raining or when there was snow on the roof.
Installation was very simple on the bedroom vent. With four self-tapping screws,
installation on the bath fan was also simple. I haven't had any problems with water
coming in during the worst rain! Still waiting to see how they do in the snow, but it has
been great for several months.

I bought 3 of these after my actual vent cover broke. This will protect all from rain in the
future. No one wants rain damage from vent failure on a vacation or during full time
RVing.

I installed this cover after changing the vent on my fifth wheel. It went on really easy and works great. It should protect my vent cover from the sun and hail damage(that's what got the first one).
I would highly recommend this for anyone with an RV.

Installed in my trailer were the Fantastic vents. I purchased the Ramble Vent cover as
added protection. After installation I discovered that the Ramble Vent cover prevents my
Fantastic vent from opening completely. I was dissatisfied with my product selection.
