We just returned from our first trip with our RVND 7710 GPS. We loved all of the features. The fact that we could check for RV parking before we stopped to eat and make sure that a station offered diesel and would work for our camper was a benefit that brought peace of mind when exiting to stop. The speed warning feature is also a fantastic benefit that can keep you out of trouble. Many times the speed limit changes, and the signs are hard to see, but this GPS warns you of the change before the speed decreases and lets you know when you are 5 miles above the limit. We put in the address and we arrived at the time that it said we would with no suprises. We could not have been more pleased. The only thing we found that could be inproved that we see, is the glare on the screen, that is very big by the way.

I had my garmin stolen out of my car.I bought the rvnd7710 and i love it . It's easy to use and i like the big screen.way better than the garmin.

The GPS is great it is easy to use and has lots of info. I would recommend this GPS to anyone that does RVing. It will keep you out of the tight spots.

We had a near miss back in 2010 when traveling in PA, and came close to going under an over pass with just 10 feet of clearance, and our 5th wheel was 13'-3. No warning signs, just a really great motorist who came alongside us and told us we NEEDED to get off the road we were on. The big display is incredible, all the features are great. So now we have our RV data entered, and supposedly the GPS unit will not send us down a road that would put us at risk. We really like the overhead sign view as you approach an on or off ramp on the interstate. Our only complaint so far is that if and when you use the AC power adaptor to charge the unit, it will not turn on after being charged. You will need to take a small pointed object and press the reset button. We had a weighted mount which we had sitting on the dash in our truck to secure our previous GPS. However the new 7710 GPS is simply too heavy, and the weighted mount would upset. Our 2011 GMC Sierra truck has a plastic imitation wood insert above the glove box, and this was wide enough to stick on the suction cup. This position is a bit below the dash level, easy to see, and tends to keep the unit out of the bright light.

I was a little skeptical at first, thinking this was just going to be an over-sized car GPS, but there are a LOT of features which relate to RVs. I have used this unit for about 1800 miles now and just LOVE it.It is very friendly for advanced directions and the warnings are great, such as Sharp Curves Ahead. The exit POI feature is just brilliant if you are looking to see what is up ahead exit by exit, and whether there is RV parking. We have 2 German Shepherds who travel with us and it is important for us to identify where the next rest stop is.. its got that too. My dash is not suction cup friendly and there was really no good place for me to use it, so I drilled 4 holes in the base and through the suction cup and screwed the base down to my dash, then got some velcro and attached the bottom corner of the screen to my upward curved instrument panel for a little more stability - worked like a charm!

I would like to tell you this GPS is the best thing I've bought in a long time. I love it!! With all the functions of a road map + RV campgrounds and alternate routes is a plus when pulling a 13' 5 Toy Hauler. It gives the best route to take without losing your AC unit! I wish I would have had bought one a long time ago.

I bought the RVND because it is RV specific, and can be programmed with your height and weight and width. I traveled to New England last year with my car GPS and found myself on a cars only parkway in upstate New York. Imagine my surprise as I approached a bridge that had a sign that read 11 feet, when I knew my TV Dome needed 13 feet! Fortunately, there was an exit right before the bridge! With the RVND, that will never happen, the device is easy to use, the screen size is beautiful, and the sound quality is much better than that of the smaller car GPS's.The RVND is easy to program, contains all the RV Campgrounds and Services along the way, and has Rand McNally Points of Interest too.

I find the unit very user friendly. The large screen helps when the unit is in a position not as close to the driver as a smaller unit. There are so many features it has made travel a pleasure.

I received this as a gift and immediately put it to use in our motorhome. After setting my route preferences, I calculated a route that should have been about 90 miles in length. Because of my road preferences, it insisted in giving me a route that was almost 250 miles long, even though I had asked for the shortest route. After much grief, I finally removed my road preferences and it routed me the same way my Garmin would. I like the RV-specific features and all the campgrounds. I have used it in the US and Canada, and am generally pleased with most of the features.

This will be a first impression review. The screen is very large. It nice to be able to read the screen while driving without having to take my eyes completely off the road. I can understand the spoken directions. They are clearly spoken and give you time to be ready for the next turn. It is very easy to search for items. I haven't asked for anything that it couldn't find yet. The information on exit POIs is very good. just for the fun of it I exited where it didn't say there was RV parking, it was right therewas no conveinent place to park.. The only thing I find annoying is that it is slower then I'm used to, but it ha a lot of information to process.You will need a smooth surface to get the stand to stay put. My dash board isn't and the window is to far away to be easily accessed.

We have three GPS's and I wasn't sure why my husband bought me this one for our newly purchased RV. We never had a RV before. I tested the route on this GSP with my Garmin GPS that I use in my car. When you set up this GPS you are asked to enter the length, width, height and weight of our RV. It actually made a difference. Coming home our auto GPS had us go down a side street and the RVND GPS had us go another way. We tried the auto GPS and the street was very narrow. We turned around and followed the RVND and it had us going on another street that was wide enough for us. It warns us when the speed limit changes and will let us know if we come to a bridge that we wouldn't be able to go under. It is wonderful and I hightly recommend it.

This GPS is awesome. I first had the Rand McNally TND 710 which was made for truckers. It was good, but it was made for truck drivers not rv drivers. It was the same size as this new one. I next got the RVND 5510 when it came out, which was nice but had a smaller screen. I just received the new RVND 7710 and it is amazing. Much faster than the other two for some reason. I think it has a new dual core processor, but I may be wrong. In any case it is FAST! Lots of cool features for an RV'r I highly recommend this device. It has a nice 7 screen. Makes traveling so much nicer.

I received this newly designed unit yesterday. The tutorial on the unit is excellent - the manual is also helpful. I am impressed with the ease of operation at the start up - upgrades are available on line - screen size is excellent - view in sunlight is very good - view at night is excellent and adjustable - the windshield mount is really heavy duty - power adapters for many different connections are included.
