This remote monitor is a very good addition to the 30 amp surge guard i installed a few weeks ago. There is a good amount of info. I would recommend this for anyone that is getting the 50amp or 30amp models of the surge guard.

The remote monitor completes your surge protection package. The monitor enables you to monitor your voltage and current in real time. But more importantly to me it logs any faults and problems. We had an issue where the surge guard was shutting off and we could not see any evident problem. I ordered the monitor and plugged it in to find out that my issue was over voltage. I thought that the surge guard was possibly defective but having the monitor in place I found that in fact it was doing its job, protecting our coach.
