Low hanging branches aren't the only culprits. We have a coin/debit card op carwash in
our community that has a tall wash bay for RV's. While washing our trailer I flipped the
power wash hose over the roof of our trailer and broke both plumbing vent caps off. The
bases were in great shape, but the caps were destroyed. I got (2) replacement caps at
our local Camping World. There are stand-off feet inside the cap that prevent the cap
from sealing the plumbing pipe vent. The caps popped right into place and look like
they'll do the trick. The metal tension tabs look plenty strong enough to hold the caps in
place, and if I ever do hit a low branch I'd rather have the cap pop out of the plumbing
pipe than cause further damage. It took me longer to climb the ladder on the back of
the trailer than it did to make the repair! You can't go wrong with this product! I'm very
happy with my purchase.
well we all know, no town has tree trimming anymore, not like the old days. you can usually tell when your rv is near a low hanging branch, missing bark from the tractor trailers hitting it or broken and dead leaves on the branch or limb.
